California City Residents Just Fought Back – They Make 1 Historic Move to Punish Their Leaders
By Sean Kerrvin

L*****t Democrats have been running roughshod over residents in Blue cities for decades. Their radically “progressive” policies have caused higher crime rates, forced businesses to close, and prompted taxpaying residents to flee for safer communities.

Residents of these crime-infested cities that want to stay have had enough. They want so-called municipal leaders to shut down crime and return the cities to safe places that attract people to live and work there.

Separate groups of concerned residents filed lawsuits against one of the most notoriously liberal cities in the nation. They want a court to force city officials to fix the problems.

From the Daily Caller:
A group of residents in San Francisco’s most crime-ridden neighborhood sued the city over open-air drug markets and rampant homelessness, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.

The lawsuit, which was filed on behalf of four unnamed Tenderloin residents and the Phoenix and Best Western hotels, alleges that city policies have allowed an open-air drug market to persist in the city and that officials have tolerated criminal activities in the area, according to the Chronicle.

The city was also hit with other lawsuits from both sides of the equation. The Coalition on Homelessness, a nonprofit assisting the homeless in the city, argued the city has been cruel in its application of homeless ordinances, and the University of California (UC) College of the Law, San Francisco, argued that the city has been too lax.

At the center of the city’s problems is the spike in crime in the Tenderloin district. Crime increased by 240% from August 2022 to August 2023, according to crime data calculated by San Franciso.

A statement from the city defended its efforts in reducing crime, disrupting open-air drug markets, and addressing homelessness. Officials stated progress is being made according to court orders. Plaintiffs in the lawsuits don’t appear to agree with the city’s position.

“The city blithely treats the Tenderloin as a place where this type of harmful activity can happen on the streets and sidewalks, and it’s inconceivable that they’d allow it in other neighborhoods,” Matthew Davis, an attorney representing the plaintiffs in both the UC College of Law San Francisco case and the Tenderloin residents case, told the Chronicle.

The city is a hotbed of social problems and questionable tactics used by the city to combat criminal activity and homelessness. The Coalition of Homelessness lawsuit in 2022 alleged that San Francisco has violated the Eight Amendment and its cruel and unusual punishment protections along with the Fourth Amendment by removing homeless people from public areas and seizing their belongings.

As city residents demanded more police to combat crime, officers claimed they were underfunded by the local government. The persistent problems in the city contributed to the San Francisco Bay Area losing 250,000 residents between 2020 and 2022.

It looks like lawsuits are the only way to force government officials to follow the law and do their jobs in these liberal cities.

Sad that citizens have to sue the government to protect their community.

"Other than the US, the top five countries to send troops to the war in Afghanistan were the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, and Canada. The United Kingdom in particular supplied roughly two to three times the troops of the other top contributing allies when considered relative to its population. British and Canadian troops put their lives at risk at twice the rate of American troops, when seen as a percentage of each country’s peak deployment. The top contributing allies lost over a thousand lives in the U.S.-led conflicts in Afghanistan and Iraq.

When measured as a percentage of their annual baseline military expenditures, the United Kingdom and Canada spent roughly half as much on Afghanistan as the United States. And when measured in terms relative to their respective Gross Domestic Products (GDPs), the U.S. provided less foreign aid than did the U.K., and about the same amount as Germany and Canada.

Western allies' primary interest in making their significant contributions was not their own security, but cementing their relationships with the U.S."

Yep - they just keep on with their nonsense, pretending they didn't hear a thing.

Or, if they do respond, they try to divert to something else.

So, amnesia then.

Some of the NATO countries even helped in the War against Terror - in Iraq.

They didn't have to. We didn't even ask them to. They just did. Maybe they considered it all part of the response to 9/11.

The US was not the only country who lost lives in Iraq and Afghanistan.

How much is one human life worth?

Quite obviously many countries had an interest in the 'War Against Terror'. They were 'helping' themselves as much as they were helping others.

"In just a couple of weeks, American and German leaks placed U.S. troops in Ukraine, Germany placed France and Britain in Ukraine, the British confirmed they were in Ukraine, Poland confirmed that NATO troops were in Ukraine, and France suggested that, if they’re not, perhaps they should be. What is the motivation behind this sudden chorus of confessions?

There are at least four—and probably a lot more—possibilities. All of them are just speculation.

The least scary is that, recognizing that the West has lost the war in Ukraine and that, after encouraging Ukraine to reject a diplomatic solution in favor of pressing the fight with the promise of Western weapons and support for as long as it takes, the leading supporters of Ukraine are trying to establish the case that they did everything they could: even putting troops on the ground in Ukraine.

The second least scary is that the leaks and revelations are meant to pressure the United States and some European countries to send more financial aid and weapons packages to Ukraine. The belief might be that the they would find that option more palatable than crossing their own red line and sending troops into Ukraine.

The third least scary is that the West is trying to create a perception in Russia of strategic ambiguity. The French newspaper Le Monde reports, “Macron’s office explained that the aim is to restore the West’s ‘strategic ambiguity.’ After the failure of the Ukrainian 2023 counter-offensive, the French president believes that promising tens of billions of euros in aid and delivering—delayed—military equipment to Kyiv is no longer enough. Especially if Putin is convinced that the West has permanently ruled out mobilizing its forces.”

The scariest possibility that was suggested to me is that the West is serious both about NATO troops already being in Ukraine and about the possibility of sending more NATO troops not being ruled out. The leaks and revelations are intended to lay the groundwork for sending more troops. The idea is to sell the idea of sending more troops by desensitizing reluctant Western partners to the risk by pointing out that the risk has already been taken. They might even add that Russia knows it and hasn’t escalated and drawn the West into a NATO-Russia war.

If true, that is a dangerous and difficult to calculate risk. How many troops could be sent before triggering a Russian response?"

MY COMMENT: You have to be living under a rock if you failed to realize that the NATO countries have been using western "volunteers- lol" in their proxy war against Russia since at least 2014. It is time to pull the plug on this insane waste of lives and treasure!

In a study in the Scandinavian Journal of Psychology, Finnish university researchers found a negative correlation between “progressive” political views and levels of happiness.

https://scitechdaily.com/according-to-scientists-smiling-is-the-secret-to-seeing-happiness/

The study found that “woke” people tend to be more anxious, unhappy and depressed. Maybe because they’re more likely to ascribe negative motivations to everyone and everything around them, for instance by blaming every seeming inequity on r****m, sexism, t***sphobia, etc. They also found that this is especially true for women. Three out of five women view “woke” ideas positively, compared to only one out of seven men.

This is why one of the Democrats’ top target v****g groups is angry, depressed females. It’s also why they h**e those of us who aren't angry and depressed. Just as laughter is the enemy of anger and depression, a sense of humor is the enemy of wokeness. If we made woke people laugh, they might get less angry and depressed, and stop seeing nothing but negativity all around them, and then they'd stop v****g Democrat.

In a related story, researchers at Britain’s University of Essex discovered that people are more likely to sense joy and happiness in someone’s face if they smile, even if it’s just a fleeting grin for a second. The study involved having people look at expressionless faces that were jolted into a brief smile by applying a mild shock to electrodes on their cheek muscles.

Say, maybe we could attach those to woke people and shock them into smiling once in a while!

from Governor Huckabee

It’s not an anniversary that I like to remember, but it was four years ago last week that the government instituted its “15 Days to Stop The Spread” lockdowns that turned into months of lockdowns in many places, ballooning the national debt, destroying lives and businesses, and doing incalculable damage to students’ educations. Although the one positive that came out of it was that thanks to Zoom classes, parents were able to discover what kind of far-left, anti-American, pro-L***Q indoctrination their kids were receiving.

We now know that the people behind this “15 Days” lie always intended for it to last much longer and hid that fact from the Trump Administration, just as so many agencies hid their real motives and intentions. One of Trump’s worst mistakes was trusting them. As one critic pointed out, he spent his last day in office praising Dr. F***i instead of issuing a blanket pardon for J****** 6th protest attendees, which might be his worst mistake of all.

Of course, when C***D was new and being hyped as an existential threat, it was hard for anyone to know exactly what to think, and back then, we trusted federal health officials to have only good intentions (how little we knew.) Here’s a reminder by Prof. Glenn Reynolds of what that period was like, the intense damage that was done to America by the people put in charge, and how those most responsible have never paid any price, and indeed, have mostly enjoyed great rewards for being incompetent at best and criminally dishonest at worst. He also includes the Committee to Unleash Prosperity’s “10 Lessons Learned” from the p******c response, which should be printed, laminated, and posted in every government office.
