My company was mine. We were non union. Productive employees were paid higher than union wages. Some employees did not progress and did the work that did not pay as well and they stayed and were fine with their job at that level. Some moved on and tried to find jobs that paid better and didn’t have to work hard. We had better health insurance than the union. Our better employees never considered going union. The ones at lower jobs probably did. The better employees understood that going union would mean the unproductive employees would make the same. That is the problem with unions.

Thanks for sharing. I certainly agree that for decades Democrats have invested more in The People where Republicans did more for the billionaires. The alt-right is an interesting turn in that respect in which they very much see themselves as the champions for the little guy but they still can't seem to escape the conservative doctrine that repels them from the progressive approach the Democrats are more comfortable with. This leaves them in a state where they don't really know what to do, because for the last 150 years, progressive politics have been the ONLY salvation for the working class.

It seems, the vacuum is being filled with an open-ended attack on the establishment as an end to itself. It's a movement charged with anger but offering no solutions. I would say 90% of alt-right politics is obsessed with destroying anything liberal.... kinda like Trump's presidency... "Repeal and Replace"!

When I had a minimum wage I was looking on how to progress into a better job ( I didn’t go to college) and after working hard for other people for 26 years I started my own business and built it to 190 employees. Yes, people with no experience did start at minimum wage but earned a lot more as they learned more and were responsible. That is the way it should be.

Why did Biden pull out the troops before the American civilians and before we could get some our military hardware out? Even the military told Biden not to pull the troops out first but Biden wouldn’t listen. If you think Trump was the reason the pull out was so f—ked up, you probably watch MSM and they will do anything to make sure Trump is responsible for Biden’s screw ups. I suppose Trump is responsible for our open border?
