Instead of reporting the real news, the liberal media have been positively salivating over Khizr Khan, the father of an American Army captain k**led during the war on terror, who called out Donald Trump during the Democratic National Convention.

While the media have had no problem criticizing military families who have called out Hillary Clinton, because Khan is a Muslim they have all flocked to his defense, acting as if he is the victim in this unpleasant exchange.

However, the Daily Caller reported that it turns out that Khan may not be the peace-loving Muslim that many liberals have claimed he is.

Khizr Khan is an attorney, and he reportedly wrote an article in the Houston Journal of International Law in 1983 where he stressed that Shariah law was the purest form a law and should come above all other forms of law.

Just as a healthy reminder, Shariah law is the legal system where women can’t do anything, and you can be k**led simply for having your hair cut the wrong way.

That’s the type of system Mr. Khan seems to think is wonderful.

“The invariable and basic rules of Islamic Law are only those prescribed in the Shari’ah (Quran and Sunnah), which are few and limited,” Khan wrote. “All other juridical works which have been written during more than thirteen centuries are very rich and indispensable, but they must always be subordinated to the Shari’ah and open to reconsideration by all Muslims.”

So in Khan’s mind, the Constitution of the United States should be subordinated to Shariah law. That doesn’t exactly sound like something a patriotic American would say.

While Trump may have crossed the line with some of the things he said, liberals are way out of line flocking to Khan’s defense just because of his religion.

Maybe they should take a look at his past before they decide that he is perfect.
