I always went by the carnation book and had good hogs-- The guys who feed old bakery goods and restaurant slop have way to fat of hogs with too much fat in the meat.

I can only say I would never attempt it again. I don't have a place to raise pigs any more but the ones I did raise were already nutted or were sows..

Takes me back-- One of our neighbors was moving so he decided to de nutt his boar hog so he could be butchered before they moved. It took 6 of us to wrestle the hog down and tie him up with a hundred feet of rope. The old boy who did the cutting had his knife drove through his hand when the hog kicked loose- Bit my dads leg and left him black and blue for a couple weeks. The old man finished his job. That boars nutts were the size of two fists. We left them in the stall. I get those doggone man eating sundew bastards that stick all over you. I found that the cheapest stuff I can buy works best on them...

All the h**e against i******s spills over toward those that are legal. I can only say there are few i******s in Coos County. The legals here are hard workers and I know of one logging company who replaced their loggers with Hispanics--Why because they show up work hard and don't need to be bailed out of jail to go to work.

Sending them to sanctuary cities is the same as giving up on a losing battle. They do the same with the homeless---just bus them somewhere else.
