The people have moved on to more important concerns. They now view the hearings as just politics.

What a big surprise!!

https://issuesinsights.com/2022/06/14/bidens-approval-rating-drops-to-lowest-in-gallups-history/

Text
On day 487 in office, President Joe Biden set a new record. He has the lowest approval rating of all presidents at this point in their presidencies since Gallup started tracking this in 1945.

According to Gallup’s P**********l Job Approval Center, just 41% approve of the job Biden is doing. That’s worse than Gerald Ford, or Lyndon Johnson, or even Jimmy Carter on day 487. Much worse than Ronald Reagan, the Bushes, Bill Clinton, or Barack Obama.

To add insult to his injury, Biden’s approval rating is now lower than Trump’s was at this point in Trump’s first term.

Biden’s oh-so-p**********l response to his cratering support: he is “seething.”

Instead of accepting blame, Biden and his “inner circle” are blaming everyone around them, including the White House staff. Politico reports that: “Members of Biden’s inner circle, including first lady Jill Biden and the president’s sister, Valerie Biden Owens, have complained that West Wing staff has managed Biden with kid gloves, not putting him on the road more or allowing him to flash more of his genuine, relatable, albeit gaffe-prone self.”

Yeah, letting Biden be Biden will work.

Maybe Jill and the rest of the inner circle will convince Joe to change his hairstyle like Carter did halfway through his presidency in hopes that it would win people back to his side.

For the record, here are the approval ratings for all the presidents since Truman at this point in their first elected term in office, according to Gallup:

Eisenhower: 63%
Kennedy: 71%
Nixon: 59%
Carter: 43%
Reagan: 45%
Bush: 65%
Clinton: 51%
Bush: 76%
Obama: 48%
Trump: 42%
Biden: 41%
Those were presidents elected to the presidency. What about the ones who assumed the office?

Lyndon Johnson had a 69% approval rating 487 days after Kennedy’s assassination. Truman was at 43% at roughly the same point after FDR died. (Truman’s dipped into the 30% range later in 1946 but then quickly rebounded.) Even Gerald Ford, who took office after Nixon resigned in disgrace, stood at 46% approval at this point in his presidency.

t’s not as though those previous presidents didn’t face crises of their own. On Reagan’s 487th day in office, the economy was in the middle of a brutal recession and the unemployment rate was 9.4% – and climbing. Clinton had broken his vow and raised taxes on the middle class. Obama’s “stimulus” had failed to stimulate the economy. Trump was subject to 24/7 media attacks and lies that he’d conspired with the Russians to steal the 2016 e******n.

Biden, in contrast, has enjoyed the warm loving embrace of the mainstream media. Plus, he inherited a nation that had all but recovered from the pointless C***D lockdowns. He had a massive supply of v*****es courtesy of Trump’s Operation Warp Speed. The economy was creating jobs far faster than expected. Prices were stable. The stock market had regained all its losses.

Biden turned success into defeat in a matter of months, and every American is now paying the huge and growing price.

What was it Obama said about Biden? Oh, right, “don’t underestimate Joe’s ability to f*** things up.”

Ukraine and Russia were at war when Donald Trump became President. Here are among the actions that Donald Trump took:

Had his National Security Advisor tell the Russian Ambassador to the US not to react to US sanctions during the Obama Administration for invading Crimea, that he would sought to get those reversed.
Sought to have Russia admitted to the G-7.
Publicly said that since the residents of Crimea spoke Russia, then Crimea belonged to Russia.
Publicly said that NATO was obsolete.
Refused to publicly say that the US would commit to honoring Article V of the NATO treaty (that says if someone like Russia attacks a member of NATO, the US would come to their aid).
After newly elected President Zelenskyy asked for a public meeting with Trump at the WH (to show Russia that we had their back), he refused to meet with Zelenskyy in the WH.
Without warning either the US or Ukraine, he abruptly cut off all arms supplies to Ukraine. When Congress forced him to resume and he was impeached, he then placed restrictions on the arms so the Javelins could not be used in combat.
He told his aides that if elected to a second term, he wanted to withdraw from NATO.

When the US Intelligence Community got copies of Russian plans for the full invasion of Ukraine, the Biden Administration shared them with NATO and Ukraine and then publicized them in an effort to help pr********n for the invasion and possibly deter Putin from invading by showing his plans were revealed. This included the Russian “hit list” of individuals targeted for assassination (which included Zelenskyy and his wife and children). Putin denied all of this prior to the invasion. Trump said publicly that he believed Putin over the US Intelligence Community and he trusted Putin when he denied various accusations.
During the 4 years of the Trump Administration when Ukraine and Russia were at war, Trump did not acknowledge this war or seek to stop it.
When Putin did invade, Trump called him a “genius” and a “peace maker.”
So I think we know how Trump would have acted in 2022 because we saw how he acted when Ukraine and Russia were fighting from 2016–2020.

More failed attempts to divert from Biden's massive failures. The American people have moved on and are more concerned about how Biden and the Democrats are making their lives more difficult. The blame everyone Biden is not working.

Bob Hoge at Redstate.com has a morning-after recap of the Democrats’ J****** 6 C*******e Show Trial, and his assessment is that it “landed with a thud.”

https://redstate.com/bobhoge/2022/06/10/heavily-hyped-primetime-j***6-committee-hearing-lands-with-a-thud-n576889

His take: There was a lot of innuendo and guilt by association with little evidence to back it up; nothing new other than “never before seen” r**t footage that looked just like footage we’ve already seen;

a claim that some O**h K****rs members were “armed anti-government extremists” without noting that they weren’t armed when they came to the Capitol;

and an admission that the P***d B**s went to the Capitol before Trump even started speaking, which undermines their claim that his speech incited the r**t.

And of course, no mention of the only person actually k**led that day, unarmed protester Ashli Babbitt.

Hoge calls the hearing “a disaster for Democrats” that proved nothing other than that “a r**t is a scary place to be.” The Dems are planning seven more hearings worth of this one-sided propaganda, but they won’t be in prime time, so we have to assume they must’ve front-loaded it with the best arguments they had.

If that’s the best they’ve got, here’s a crazy idea: how about canceling the seven more sessions of this and spending the time on something else, like maybe reducing inflation, increasing oil and gas production to bring down prices, securing the border or getting the supply chain crisis solved? Or are they deliberately avoiding doing any of that because that’s what Trump would do?
