The fear was that when congress actually passes laws that a conservative court could and would overstep their authority and rule those laws unconstitutional...never mind that the constitution is wh**ever they say it is.

Let's first weed out all the hypothetical BS about "needing" to get food...this is not what I'm talking about. I am talking about you know you are sick, you are coming down with what those in denial will believe is only a cold or flu...you go to work and you refuse to get tested because then you would know and you don't want to know, preferring ignorance.
In the first place, what the hell are people doing going into an office work place with a cold or flu? I'm sure both the employers and employees take a dim view of someone coughing and feeling like crap coming to work and giving their crap to other people.
Now we are in an era with C***d that there is every likelihood that that cold or flu is C***d. It has become a matter of pure common sense to stay home when you feel like you are coming down with something, to get tested so that you know you are safe, this is so you don't infect and possibly k**l the people you work with.
Now the new excuses coming out have to do with denial, people insisting what they have is "only" a cold, when they then refuse to get tested, the "reasons" being they do not want to know because then they would have to stay home.
Just in my community, among people I know, the stories are coming out of people who don't seem to care about others going to a social event and putting someone in the hospital or k*****g them.
States are looking at laws about prosecuting people for knowing they are sick and exposing others, and the first thing that needs to be covered is the ignorance clause, those people who for damn sure know they are sick because they in their willful ignorance believe what they have is "just" a cold or flu, which is not for them to decide at this point...if you feel good enough to go out shopping or to work you feel good enough to go get tested.
It is just a matter of time until someone who ends up in the hospital sues someone that willfully exposed them to wh**ever they knew they had. Those laws are already on the books for people with aids.
Manchin as well as Sinema have constantly been corrected as to the misinformation they have blathered on about the role the filibuster plays in democracy, Manchin quoting it as a founding principle which it is not, in fact the founding fathers were decidedly against anything but a simple majority...in fact I believe it was Hamilton that wrote about 2/3rds majority rules degrading democracies into minority rule.

The idea that each state has the right to make it any harder to v**e with senseless rules and laws that other states do not find necessary is ridiculous. The states that have thos process dialed to where there are literally no problems should serve as the templates for the other states. The fact of the matter is that the states wanting stupid and senseless laws are the states where they need to basic guidance, because they are the ones that don't understand the difference between e******n integrity and v**er suppression by making it harder for eligible v**ers to v**e.

One of my right wing contractor friends is v******ted but has a wife that is not...they roll such a complex degree of pure ignorance together that it is appallingly humorous in a very dark way. Telling their story comes with multiple "no, it gets worse" as you start to think it's as bad as it gets.
I asked how he is doing and he says he has been sick with a cold, achy muscles, shortness of breath, and really whipped. He says he was feeling better so he worked Monday and Tuesday, but that was too much and he cancelled his jobs for a couple of days.
His wife was copping an attitude about him missing some work before the weekend, but she got hit hard Sunday, so she is a bit more understanding. He told her she should stay home but no, she says if she calls in sick they will make her get C***d tested, and she doesn't want to do that because she might be positive and have to stay home. He tried to tell her it was best to get tested anyway, but no, she doesn't want to know.
This typifies this moronic attitude that is why this country is having such a tough time with C***d. This is exactly how stupid and inconsiderate these people's attitudes are about helping stop spreading, she would rather go to work and expose everyone she works with to what is likely to be C***d. Statistics say that over half the people she works with will get it, whether they don't show signs or do, and there are those who will be very sick or hospitalized and possibly die.
Someone this inconsiderate could die and it would benefit our society and the country.

The answer is 67.5M. That’s how many possible v**es remained. So how on earth does Joe Biden have another 13 million v**es on top of that number?
