In Texas, State Representative Terry Meza (D-Irving) has introduced HB196. Her bill would repeal the state's "Castle Doctrine." This doctrine allows a homeowner to use deadly force against an armed intruder who breaks into his home.

"I'm not saying that stealing is okay," Meza explained. "All I'm saying is that it doesn't warrant a death penalty. Thieves only carry weapons for self-protection and to provide the householder an incentive to cooperate. They just want to get their l**t and get away. When the resident tries to resist is when people get hurt. If only one side is armed fewer people will be k**led."

Meza was quick to reassure that her bill would not totally prevent homeowners from defending themselves.

Under her new law, “… the homeowner's obligation is to flee the home at the first sign of intrusion. If fleeing is not possible, he must cooperate with the intruder. But if violence breaks out it is the homeowner's responsibility to make sure no one gets hurt. The best way to achieve this is to use the minimum non-lethal force possible because intruders will be able to sue for any injuries they receive at the hands of the homeowner.

"In most instances, the thief needs the money more than the homeowner does," Meza reasoned. "The homeowner's insurance reimburses his losses. On balance, the t***sfer of property is likely to lead to a more equitable distribution of wealth. If my bill can help make this t***sfer a peaceful one so much the better."

Newly released bank records show that payments were made to President Joe Biden’s son from a Chinese C*******t Party-linked company. Sens. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) and Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) presented the records on the Senate floor on March 28 and March 29. One showed a wire payment of $100,000 to Owasco, one of H****r B***n’s firms, from CEFC China Energy, a now-defunct company closely associated with the Chinese regime,
Another showed a wire t***sfer of $5 million to Hudson West, a company H****r B***n invested in and managed, from Northern International Capital, a business that partnered with CEFC. A contract also made public by the senators showed $500,000 went to H****r B***n as a “one-time retainer fee.”
Two others showed a $1 million payment made to Hudson West by CEFC and a t***sfer of $1 million from Hudson West to Owasco, with the money appearing to go to H****r B***n for the purposes of representing Patrick Ho, a Chinese businessman who has helped CEFC gain advantages through bribery. The receipts are just some of the records that “undeniably show strong links between the Biden family and c*******t China,” Grassley said.
The $100,000 t***saction was dated Aug. 4, 2017; the $5 million t***sfer was dated Aug. 8, 2017; the two other payments were made on Nov. 30, 2017, and March 22, 2018, respectively. H****r B***n’s lawyer didn’t respond to requests by The Epoch Times for comment; the White House also didn’t respond to an inquiry.
For years, Grassley and Johnson have been probing H****r B***n, who is under federal investigation, producing a report in 2020 that exposed connections between the younger Biden and Chinese nationals connected to the Chinese regime and military. Among them is Ye Jianming, a Chinese oil tycoon who founded CEFC. Ye was put under investigation by Chinese authorities in 2018 and hasn’t been seen since then.

The senators discovered that H****r B***n made millions from Ye and his company and millions more from Dong Gongwen, a financier and business associate of Ye. Messages later obtained by The Epoch Times showed H****r B***n had a close relationship with Ye, including being the first guest at the Chinese businessman’s new apartment, while other messages listed Joe Biden and Dong as “office mates.”
Andrew Bates, who at the time was representing Joe Biden’s campaign, claimed the Senate report was using taxpayer dollars to launch “an attack founded on a long-disproven, hardcore right-wing conspiracy theory.” Bates is now a White House spokesman. Acknowledging their efforts have drawn criticism, Grassley told colleagues on March 28 that the report was largely based on records from the Obama administration and almost a dozen interviews with government officials.
Grassley said he and Johnson “did what any good investigator would do: we gathered even more records to prove all these people wrong.” The senators said they plan on releasing the financial records they’ve obtained in full. Their offices didn’t respond by press time to requests for more information.
“Bank records like this piece of evidence are pretty hard to deny and sweep under the rug,” Johnson told senators, asserting that the documents show corruption and conflicts of interest that could compromise Biden.
“The evidence is stunning, and it is growing.”

Exhilarated after retaking both houses of Congress and the presidency, the Democrats are behaving as though they have carte blanche to destroy all vestiges of their political opposition by wh**ever means necessary. Progressive liberals want to completely eradicate anyone with an incompatible vision. “Democrats are literally beginning to sound like ISIS,” tweeted conservative commentator Candace Owens. “‘Recite the Quran or get your head chopped off, now!’ Absolutely psychopathic,” Owens said.

Conservative positions are attacked as disinformation and the purveyors are canceled. If you suggest that g****l w*****g is a h**x, you are spreading disinformation. If you so much as bring up the topic of e******n f***d, you are spreading disinformation. If you warn that Joe Biden’s intention to open our borders can lead to disastrous outcomes, you are spreading disinformation. For anyone who believes in free speech, this kind of insidious censorship is terrifying.

What is disinformation? Disinformation is information that is intended to mislead or obscure the t***h.

In a disturbing development for freedom of speech, the Biden administration announced that it will collaborate with social media to crack down on any information that is critical of Biden’s v******tion policy. Disinformation, said Tucker Carlson, “seems to be anything the Biden administration does not want the people to know including, for example, how effective the C***D v*****es actually are and what the potential side effects might be from taking them.” You would no longer be allowed to text such information to other people. Your private conversations would be controlled by Joe Biden and the Democrats. “The Biden administration considers censorship applicable to private speech,” said Carlson.

To add insult to injury, we have a new development that frankly is beyond my comprehension. The president has created an information czar to spy on American citizens. Biden is establishing what he calls the Disinformation Governance Board as part of the Department of Homeland Security. Its purpose, said DHS Director Alejandro Mayorkas, is “to identify individuals who could be descending into violence by reason of ideologies of h**e, false narratives, or other disinformation and misinformation propagated on social media and other platforms.”

Tucker Carlson summed it up perfectly. “They are using law enforcement powers to identify and punish people who think the wrong thing,” Carlson said. “That would be opponents of the Biden administration. Joe Biden’s partisan political enemies are now officially enemies of the state.” In other words, DHS will be looking to punish conservatives who have not committed a crime—but could do so in the future.

Critics are comparing the Disinformation Governance Board to the Ministry of T***h from George Orwell’s dystopian novel 1984. “We live in terrifying times,” said journalist Sara Carter. “That’s what you do to an enemy. It’s not what you do to the American people.” Charles Hurt of the Washington Times warns that “If Democrats and Republicans in Congress are not terrified by this and doing everything they can to stop it, then we’re done—we’re finished.”

Biden’s Ministry of T***h will be listening to your phone calls and emails, and monitoring your social media posts as they do in China. No private communication of prohibited ideas will be allowed. If you say anything critical of the Biden/Harris administration, you could wind up in Guantanamo. Will Congress be able to stop this? Not this do-nothing Congress. Active resistance may come from the 75 million people who v**ed for Trump. Shutting down a minority is one thing, but canceling 75 million v**ers is something else entirely.

“This is not just an attack on free speech,” said Family Research Council President Tony Perkins. “This is an attack on an entire movement of people with the intent of driving them underground—keeping them from getting jobs, having legal representation, and even cutting them off from legitimate financial t***sactions.”

“They're as far left as Lenin,” said political commentator Dan Bongino. “Do liberals not grasp how totalitarian this is?” Once the door is open, we can kiss free speech goodbye. If we can’t acknowledge that there are two sides to every story, the U.S. is well on the way to becoming a totalitarian state. It starts with accusations of spreading disinformation and ends with a call for purging conservatives and sending their children to indoctrination camps. “If liberty means anything at all,” said George Orwell, “it means the right to tell people what they do not want to hear.”
