So, you admit H****r took money from China. That’s a step in the right direction.

Actually, they want to live where white people WERE. And, look at any place that has happened. What do you see?

This entire country is headed in that direction.

Here’s something useful for ya’: understand that today’s Marxist/L*****t/Democrats intend to “dilute” this country’s white majority, by mass brown/black immigration.
It is NOTHING MORE THAN AN IMMENSE POWER GRAB. Humanitarian? Absolutely absurd!

400-year-old 'vampire child' found buried with its foot padlocked to stop it rising from the grave

Archaeologists in Poland have unearthed the 400-year-old skeleton of a young child buried face-down with an iron padlock on its foot – seemingly to stop its rising from the dead.

The child was buried in the 17th century in the village of Pień near Poland’s northern city of Bydgoszcz, in what seems to have been a graveyard for "abandoned souls" and the poor who could not afford to be buried in a churchyard.

The archaeologists estimate the child was between 5 and 7 years old at death.

The remains were found just a few feet away from the skeleton of a "vampire" woman discovered last year, who was buried at about the same time with a sickle placed over her neck and a similar padlock on her foot.

According to the traditions of the time, such padlocks were intended to secure a corpse in its grave.

"The padlock shows people were afraid of this child after its death," Dariusz Poliński, an archaeologist at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, told Live Science.

A third padlock was unearthed in the same graveyard, though only scattered bones were found nearby.

No other child skeletons buried like this have been found at the site, and it is likely this is the only known example of such a burial in Europe, Poliński said.

Today I asked myself why do I like guns? Not just rifles but also handguns. Why do I own so many? Here are my answers:

Self-defense
As a 92-year-old I cannot respond to physical threats in kind, I need equalizers, and that means handguns placed nearby me within reach wherever I am in the house.
Over two million people per year have relied on a weapon to thwart a grave threat to their existence according to police reports. So, that there is a threat is well-established, granted that the odds that I will face such a threat are rather low. I am prepared however!

Hunting
For many years I was a fan of hunting small game, but many of my acquaintances were big game h****rs that also served to control excess population in various areas.
In the north, including Alaska, and in our mountains, hunting big game is done to place food on the table for the year, which is a life-sustaining necessity. Hunting to reduce the population of predators on ranch lands and in swamp areas is yet another necessity.

Sport
Shooting is a national sport enjoyed by millions. In my high school days, I was on the rifle team, and did quite well at the sport.

Military
In just about every generation, we have had
to mount a significant military effort. Young men that have grown up shooting for sport or for hunting purposes provide a welcome capability in our services, since the more you practice accurate shooting the better you get, and it takes thousands of rounds to achieve a superior capability.

Love of Precision Mechanisms
Many people have a great appreciation for the sheer beauty of a well-made weapon, how it looks, how it feels to the grasp, how well its action works, how accurate it shoots, and what its hitting power is, all contribute to the admiration of a weapon. Then too, there is the admiration of historical weapons and how well they fared.

Thus, I am a proud gun owner and minor collector, and with my mental outlook and training, I practice safety always, and I most certainly hope that I never have to use my weapons in self-defense.

Nice post!

My wife has always chided me for my obsession for “gadgets”…..guns being the foremost.

I’ve done a lot of “bird hunting”, but, the real interest is in collecting, shooting and maintaining the firearms.

Why does he send the money to the Taliban? Ans.: He has to send it somewhere in order to get some of it back. He can’t just deposit it directly into his family’s offshore accounts.

[quote=Oldsailor65]Biden Asked 'What Do You Want' to Marine Injured in Afghan Explosion, But That's Not Even the Worst Part

By Bryan Chai
August 8, 2023 at 11:17am
Just when you think your personal opinion of President Joe Biden can’t go any lower, a new story has emerged that paints the octogenarian occupant of the White House as either maliciously stupid or horrifically detached.

Either way, it’s an abysmal look for a president who really can’t afford any more gaffes as he barrels towards what will be a contentious 2024 re-e******n bid.

The latest Biden gaffe revelation may actually be the most damning, and it is made all the more worse by the fact that the victim of the president’s brainlessness is an actual American hero.

Tyler Vargas-Andrews, a Marine who was wounded badly in the horribly botched withdrawal from Afghanistan in August 2021, spoke on “The Shawn Ryan Show.”

The Marine spoke on a number of topics related to that disaster, but he saved a scathing anecdote regarding the incumbent president towards the back third of the show, which you can watch in its entirety below:

WARNING: The following video clip contains language the viewer may find offensive
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZZ-JXDoqsnc&t=15789s

Vargas-Andrews, who lost an arm while evacuating the American embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan, recounted the time Biden visited him at the hospital — and that’s about where the niceties end.

“Right away, like, [I] remember him coming up to me, trying to shake my hand, like, [he] tried to shake my right hand” said Vargas-Andrews, who, again, is missing an arm.

Should Biden be impeached?
Yes: 99% (1010 V**es)
No: 1% (7 V**es)
The wounded veteran continued: “I look at him, and I’m like, ‘I don’t have an arm,’ and my left arm is in this big a** cast with this giant, orange f***ing foam block around it, [rendering it] completely immobile.'”

Yes, the president of the United States put so much care and thought into visiting the country’s wounded heroes, he tried to shake a hand that (literally) wasn’t there.

Somehow, things only got worse from there.

“All I can do is move my head,” Vargas-Andrews continued. “My arm’s gone, like, I don’t have an arm, and he says, ‘Oh.'”

From there Biden, apparently still dead set on shaking a wounded man’s hand, then allegedly reached out to Vargas-Andrews’ exposed fingertips on his immobilized left arm and grabbed the fingers.

“[Biden] doesn’t greet me or anything, just, that’s what happened,” Vargas-Andrews continued. “[He] just grabbed my fingers.”

After understandably finding the entire interaction bizarre, Vargas-Andrews then accused the president of making his plight all about himself.

“I was like, okay, that’s weird,” Vargas-Andrews said. “And you know, [Biden] almost immediately starts talking, like, about how their son served in the military.”

The Marine added that Biden “doesn’t say anything about what happened” in Afghanistan.

In perhaps the only endearing part of this Biden anecdote, Vargas-Andrews noted that his mother, growing increasingly frustrated with Biden’s hollow and shallow visit, tore into the incumbent president in an expletive-laden rant.

“[My mom] was like, ‘I don’t give a f***. I don’t care what you guys f***ing do.’ She’s like, ‘You better take care of him for the rest of his f***ing life,'” Vargas-Andrews recounted.
