My, my the argument is getting heated and I have yet to say anything in defense of our defense.

Well lets just look at this situation for a moment. According to their law, "if a man murders a man, then that man must be executed." For isn't murder a road to more murder. Is this not the law of Moses? Is this not the Law of Christ? Is this not the law of the Muslims?

For if this law is followed. Then we must exterminate the group responsible. However, Christ did not say judge, but rather, "judge not lest you be judged!", but does this give them a license to k**l?

For if they k**led others as well as their own is it not right to go after them. We may render mercy on to them, for that is the way of the Christian, however, mercy and forgiveness, does not alleviate ones responsibility with God. But this is purely a spiritual side.

As far as the human side, since the law states "if a man k**ls another man, then that man must be brought to justice"
For do we not bring men to justice for murdering in our own lands, yet we are afraid to do so overseas why? Murder is murder whether it is done here or there. However, we have honor and are called civilized, yet we still follow the law. Does that mean the law is wrong? No by all means.

For ISIS not only k**ls the man, but desecrates the man's body, treating his body like dirt, when in fact that body is the temple of Jesus Christ. Therefore the desecration of the temple of Jesus Christ, is a sin beyond measure. This sin was also recognized by the greatest Empire in the world, the Romans. Yet the Romans took part in the desecration of the Holy Temple of Jesus Christ, and in time were converted, and outlawed such cruelty. Yet, man still believes he must protect God. Why does man have to protect God? Why must man k**l man in the name of God, when God can do His Own k*****g and does?

Now in our case, being victims of the evil which ISIS poses to not only Christians and Jews but their fellow Muslim brothers, is it not prudent to rescue them from this evil?

If the Jews are bound by the law, and the Christians are not bound by that law, and the Muslims are thus again bound by the Jewish law, is it not right for the Christians to intervene and if necessary k**l?

For the law applies only to those who were not Baptised in the faith of Jesus Christ, and confirmed by the Holy Spirit. Thus the Jews and Muslims are under the law of Moses, where the Christians are not. Does this mean the law of Moses does not apply to the Christians? Heavens no! For a Christian to remain in the grace of God, the Christian must follow the laws of God, which are written in the law of Moses.

But what makes Christianity different, is in the fact that they can forgive, those who are worthy of forgiveness, therefore showing the light of Christ upon them. Now my bickering and upset friends, I have been reading the Letters of St. Paul all night, so therefore my response is in the methodology of St. Paul. Let me come down from the pulpit of the Church for a moment and respond as a man.

As a man, the murder of those in Iraq, especially those from the Christian villages, I feel as a Christian that my fellow brothers and sisters were k**led because they believed in Jesus Christ. The same person or if you may, God, I believe in. Therefore, an attack on one of the members of Christ is an attack on the whole body of Christ.

As a man, if one of my members of my body was to be attacked the other members would retaliate to stop that member from being attacked. Therefore it is prudent to march on ISIS. Did we k**l all the members of the N**i party, or did we just imprison them?

It is true that the members of the N**i party did some horrible things to the Jews. And for that they were brought up on war crimes and crimes against humanity. And it was through the consensus of the whole world to execute these people.

Now, like the example of the N**is, we should arrest and try these people before the entire world, to satisfy the accusation point of trial. Then the world can sit in judgement over these people.

If the Christians, who are the injured party, should seek mercy, then that wish should be fulfilled. However, if the crime and sin of these murders are more than the Christians can bear, then it would be right to execute them. But to do nothing when a member of your body is injured by an outside threat is worse than what we do to animals that attack the human person.

Should a man find a beehive, in his yard, and a bee stings him, the bee dies. But does that end the threat of the bees? Does the man not look for the sources of the bees to either destroy the hive or exile the hive away from his loved ones?

Therefore both prudence and justice demand action. Therefore it is right to go after ISIS in a way that all humans can be safe from the brutality of this group.

Although my fear and anger has been kindled against ISIS, that in no way means that I am their judge. They have sophisticated "toys" of war now and the outlaw group believes to be an army. Yet this is no army but a bunch of outlaws that need to be brought to justice.

They are a band of outlaws that are now using the internet to affect the hearts and minds of us all. Do not seek revenge, but seek justice. Punish those who are responsible, so they stop this evil. If they cannot or will not stop this evil, then there is only one alternative left and that alternative is death.

Since 9/11 we have been battling these terrorists. We have attempted on many occasions to make peace. Each peace agreement has be answered with death. Now the only alternative is death. And through death, peace may be granted.

No where in the Bible or the Koran does it state to k**l, unless murder is done. However, Muhammad did allude to a justifiable murder, neither Yahweh or Jesus accepted it. Yahweh allowed men to k**l if revenge consumed their soul, this is related in the Law of Moses. But Yahweh never approved of murder as an act of aggression. Yahweh did command however, the ancient Israelites to exterminate or smite the inhabitants of the Nephilim or the land of Canaan, for a specific reason. But the Israelites took pity on the people they conquered and tried to unite the peoples.

This proved to be against the will of God, for these people poisoned the Israelites who eventually took on the customs of the people they conquered and sinned against their own God. So, God exiled His people to Babylon until they came to their senses. And when they left their false gods and came to their senses, God welcomed them back to the land of their fathers.

And again they turned against their God, partly because of foreigners, for they turned back to sin. They k**led the Son of their God, so God commanded Rome to destroy Jerusalem, and in 70 AD, Emperor Tiberius, did so. He destroyed the Temple and the city. The land was laid waste.

Today, Israel has returned to their senses and is beginning to return to their land and they are building it back up. Instead of us Christians jumping for joy at the sight of the power of God in our time, we condemn Israel for this. Why? There are some among you that say the terrorist problem we have today is because we are allies with Israel.

There are some that feel Palestine should control the land. However, Palestine can't control Hamas, a terrorist organization that taught Osama Bin Laden, and Al Qaeda, which in turn taught ISIS. Which brings us to this dilemma.

Therefore, I agree with going in and destroying ISIS and holding the men responsible for the crimes against humanity. However, I want you to decide, you my fellow OPP brothers and sisters to decide. Briefly, I described the situation in Faith and Reason. I have prayed upon this situation going on 24 days now. And the answer seems to be an invasion.

Every act of peace on our part has been met with another beheaded or crucified person. So, I ask those opposed to the invasion, how many more people, let them be Jew, Christian, or American must die before we act?

Good morning all,
"In the Name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit....Amen"

Dear Lord Jesus may your blessings come upon us as we pray the Ancient Prayers of David, King of Israel and your servant.

A Psalm of David.

The King of Glory and His Kingdom
A Psalm of David.

The earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness,
The world and those who dwell therein.
For He has founded it upon the seas,
And established it upon the waters.
Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord?
Or who may stand in His holy place?
He who has clean hands and a pure heart,
Who has not lifted up his soul to an idol,
Nor sworn deceitfully.
He shall receive blessing from the Lord,
And righteousness from the God of his salvation.
This is Jacob, the generation of those who seek Him,
Who seek Your face. Selah
Lift up your heads, O you gates!
And be lifted up, you everlasting doors!
And the King of glory shall come in.
Who is this King of glory?
The Lord strong and mighty,
The Lord mighty in battle.
Lift up your heads, O you gates!
Lift up, you everlasting doors!
And the King of glory shall come in.
Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of hosts,
He is the King of glory.
Psalms 24:1-10 NKJV

This reminds me of a son, let my prayer be heard in song:

The King of glory comes, the nation rejoices.
Open the gates before Him, lift up your voices.

Who is the King of glory: what shall we call Him?
He is Emmanuel, the promised of ages.

The King of glory comes, the nation rejoices.
Open the gates before Him, lift up your voices.

In all of Galilee, in city or village,
He goes among his people, curing their illness.

The King of glory comes, the nation rejoices.
Open the gates before Him, lift up your voices.

Sing then of David’s son, our Savior and brother,
In all of Galilee was never another.

The King of glory comes, the nation rejoices.
Open the gates before Him, lift up your voices.

He gave His life for us, the pledge of salvation,
He took upon Himself the sins of the nation.

The King of glory comes, the nation rejoices.
Open the gates before Him, lift up your voices.

He conquered sin and death; he truly has risen,
And He will share with us his heavenly vision.

The King of glory comes, the nation rejoices.
Open the gates before Him, lift up your voices.

In the Name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit....Amen"

It is always nice to find that people do still try to stay open minded. It is not always an eaasy thing to do. What helps keep me in check, and open to the teachings of others, is simply this. I know that I can not be 100% right all the time, remaining humble makes one wiser than one who puffs them self up. Should we boast of what we think we are, we set our selves up to defend what we think we are. Needless to say this leads a lack of understanding, and an inability to learn.

Now that is the wises statement I've seen on these topics! I love it! Good Job!

Without going into details I along with most I know are well armed if that is what you are after. Owning guns to protect yourself isn't a conservative thing it's the smart thing especially when you live off of the beaten path like I do. My personal favorite is my Springfield 45. I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of those bullets especially up close. They pack a pretty good punch. I own high powered rifles to other hand guns. 12 in all if you are counting. I have one that is a 5 shot 38 with the hammer on the inside. It used to be my late Grandfathers dads when he was a state trooper in Indiana well before my dad was born and he's now 85. The date on that gun is 1892 and still have the original holster it came with. All are locked up except for my 45 and two rifles one with a high power scope.

Now if you're interested in fishing tackle I've got probably 50 rod and reels combo's with several dating back to the 30's and 40's and several more ABU's from the late 60's. I've got 2 bamboo fly rods in metal cases that were my dads and grandfathers from the 40's. They still look brand new and I have no intention of using them since I have 2 fly rods I use often and keep in my fishing boat. One for panfish and one for bass or what ever bites. I do have a lot of fairly new stuff too plus 2 lake camps and 2 boats. A 18' fishing boat with a 150 merc and a 25' premier pontoon with a 115 4 stroke Suzuki(her boat).

We are prepared and the only wings we deal with our BBQ ones. Franks Hot Sauce.
Without going into details I along with most I kno... (show quote)

I prefer my .357, but now I know I am preaching to the choir with you. As long as you are prepared and are praying then, you're ready.

I'm just voicing my concern to those who are not ready or don't know that a threat is on the horizon and we must be prepared and ready. I'm not advocating to round up every muslim in camps like we did with the Germans and the Japanese in World War II. But what I am saying is we need to keep watch and act appropriately.

Will they attack us? It seems so. Is it likely? no one knows. They k**led an American and it went v***l. They k**led the Christians and other Muslims. This statement shows they are willing and able to murder everyone. Therefore, we must be prepared but to the nuts out there "Hold your fire!" You know.

No. I have to agree with you Retired on this one. But my question still stands, Do you believe in being prepared or winging it?

I personally don't give a s**t what the Koran has in it. It's more worthless religious garbage to keep people like you stirred up and it seems to be working.

Those morons in the middle east have been k*****g each other in various ways for thousands of years which I don't care about either. If we were not over there they wouldn't be k*****g our people. Put yourself in harms way and bad things will happen sooner or later. You can thank your government and those who own it for all of our problems.

As far as the border goes where do you think we(our country) would all be today if the native people our government took the land from had the means to keep our ancestors out? Do any of you people ever stop and think about that?....Probably not.

Fear mongering works on a certain type of people. Think about that too and why.

Please stop the bull....sh....in the Political Forum, JESUS was crucified in the Holy Land, and he was poor.

Jesus was the last Prophet, King of Israel, and the Son of the living God! He had more fun among the poor then the rich because of their crooked and wicked ways. He gave eternal life to each of us for free! Yet you with your dense mind can never fathom that! Once born all ways will be.

Now that the religous stuff is out of the way. If a state has to resort to terrorism, it is not a state at all. And lo and behold Palestine is not a state. Israel is showing great reluctance in just storming Palestine and totally taking them out. That is to be respected, and I know for a fact they could do it. But they don't because they want to work with the Palestinians. Palestine does not want to work with them. This is the problem. Now get over it.

Wrong again, I am a Christian who lives Christianity, something you have no idea what it is. I do not claim the Jews are Christ k**lers, infact I respect the Jews. Oh what a lesson for you, my respect for the Jews shows how e******y should be. But you are too ignorant to see that. I fight for the right and the prudence of divine providence, you not so much.

You have never defended something worth defending. You never picked up a gun and defended a nation. I have not once but twice and I cannot properly defend anything I don't believe in. My stance against terrorism has remained the same the entire time I type, these, ramblings as you so eloquently put it on the Political forum. If you would be educated then you would understand what I am saying.

I presented real historical proof trying to steer away from religion, yet you call it religious. Okay fine, if there was no religion there would be nothing to write, for religion is a big part of history, yet you do not want to acknowledge it, you say poor Arabs in Palestine, save the murderers and the theives, alduterers, yet I say to you poor you!

If you call this paranoia then its paranoia light. Rediness and being prepared is not being paranoia. So your argument is dead too. If you react this way for being prepared, I wonder how you will react when it does happen.
