Yes he did have classified documents which he was unaware of until the Trump I don’t have any classified documents. But Biden and you failed to say Pence asked the national archives to come to there homes and go thru the docs they had. Both Biden and Pence requested they come to there home.

Trump for 1 1/2 years kept saying I don’t have these documents. The DOJ and the FBI had to start a full scale investigation in order to obtain a warrant to search his estate. Then the FBI found out he removed boxes from the storage space and put in other areas in his mansion. So Biden and Pence are two different cases.

Just remember in April 2001
Trumps comment was I don’t have them.
Then after 6 months of negotiations with Trump he turned over 12 boxes of which he said he did not have.
Then National Archives knew he had more and kept asking Trump for the remainder he said he didn’t have anymore. If Trump at this time just turned the boxes over we wouldn’t be in this situation. But he refused so in Nov. of 2021 a full scale investigation was started by the FBI and the DOJ.
