So. The DOJ has been soft peddling these groups for a long time. Nationalist Organization seems to be the code word for w***e s*********ts as far as I can tell. They try to (or used to) show up when B*M shows up as well as their other activities (i.e., the 1*6 attempt on the Capitol Building). We have some of these types living in and around our community and they are pretty scary. Showed up at the polls last e******n and attempted to intimidate people coming in. Not sure why, we live in a very conservative area.

Come on, guys. It is very SIMPLE to count Trump's lies! For example, when he was President, each day that he walked in front of the cameras he would say "Good morning". Twenty or so White House correspondents would say, "But I do NOT think it is a good morning!" and report to their network that TRUMP LIED to me! Five hundred radio and TV and newspaper leftwingers would report that TRUMP LIED this morning. That adds up to 520 Trump lies with just one salutation. They wanted to count each person who HEARD or READ about the claim as a separate lie as well, but they decided that doing THAT might be considered silly. The amazing thing about the situation is that they stopped counting after only 40,000 or so.

This comes from a place that is taking several evolving things into account...different pressures.

To start with Collins, Murkowski, and Manchin seem to be stunned or appalled that recent appointees literally lied in confirmation hearings about the solidity of Roe V Wade as a foundationally solid president law. They and a lot of others never believed the supreme court would ever go where Alito did in terms of pissing on Stare Decisis.

Already politicians are indicating that they think the supreme court has become dangerously partisan and political to a degree something needs to be done. If one justice bends to public pressure they will be left with softening their position and rewriting Alito's decision to reflect a solider support for precedent. It is obvious that the supreme court kicked a court destroying hornets nest...and the centrist side of the court is going to be pressuring them to cave.

The senate can rectify this, and part of that is deciding if the are going to tolerate this level of deceit...and yes they probably would but they are going to be facing career ending e******ns at home in states that had close margins and more democrats registered than republicans. This is a move that will catalyze even moderate republicans. One key shift may be towards ending the filibuster so as to be able to modify and fix the supreme court.
