I know that some might think I have privilege. What I have I either earned or inherited thanks to good parents and grandparents and all my ancestors. If you don't have any privilege, look to yourself and your own ancestors and quit attacking my heritage. You and only you can improve what you have and what your ancestors bestowed on you. If you don't like where you are at, got off of your ass, do the work and lead a good life. It isn't my fault. The real question is, how much of your privilege is your fault, what you did to improve it and what you are doing to improve it.

gorgeous sunshiny day. Clear as a bell and cold as heck.... warmed to minus 4 degrees at the moment.. and what happens, a robin lands on one of the bird feeders.. fat and jolly looking, he must eat well or he simply put on an extra coat of feathers and stayed with us for the winter rather than do all that flying to reach the south...

Anyway.. have a great day, enjoy the sun and stay warm.. BTW, we got no snow but did get a bit chilly.. 19 below overnight..

Biden's recent comments indicate that he is an American by birth only.

"We do not support independence," Biden told reporters when asked for comment on DPP candidate William Lai’s victory over the rival Koumintang (KMT) party following Saturday’s e******n.

As Americans we applaud freedom and independence. This is another instance where Biden is out of touch and does not speak for the American people.

He may have been born here but he's no American Period!!!!They found his weakness and they have him right where they can make him do what they want

There is something I love about Texas. You just don't want to screw with Texas...or you're asking for trouble. Too bad more states aren't like that. I think of Cali as being just the opposite. Maybe that's why so many Cali residents have moved exactly like that from Cali to Texas...never looked at it that way, until just now. https://hotair.com/headlines/2024/01/14/dont-mess-with-texas-hamas-sympathizers-n605021

I know I'm a broken record but we need to take a serious look at a divorce in this country. At this point I have given up on a friendly compromise. It has actually been investigated right down to how to split everything including military. I also feel that people that aline with the left but live in a red state should recieve some money for their home and helped to move to a blue of their choice

The first rule of hideaway is…..
NEVER talk about the hideaway.
Having said that..
1- Property must have a potable water supply. A spring is ideal along with a creek that runs year round. A manual deep well hand pump is a must.
2- a plot of land with good soil and full sun 8 hours a day.
3- A small pond if possible.
4- lots of hardwood trees
5- Manual hand tools.Saws axes, drills, shovels, picks , rakes ext.
6- learn to do everything without electricity or gasoline powered equipment.
Remember everything has a lifespan plan accordingly.

FOOD…… freeze dried food are your friend.
Buy a freeze dryer and run it night and day. I have 2 of them.
Lots of bulk foods such as beans , rice …
They are easy to store in buckets with gamma lids.
Lots of seeds .. learn how to garden .
Several hundred pounds of salt and lots of bulk spices.
Commodities like bleach…it has a multitude of uses.
Lots of medical supplies. To many to list.
There are online pharmacies where you can buy 5 different types of prescription antibiotics along with a list of other prescription meds you might want.you need a online doctor consult to buy.

STAY away from population centers when purchasing your hideaway.
Another MUST.. develop relationships with like minded people. People with different sk**l sets are very much encouraged in you circle of friends and associates.

You need a rechargeable solar battery several in fact and smaller ones that you can pick up and carry they come with solar panels. Not something you want to be to dependent on but they do come in handyfor charging batteries for various working tools BUT medical equipment!!! long term servival medical issues need to be a big part of the plan there are ekg machines and other similar tech type things that you can buy on line books on medical issues
unless your long term plan includes watching one of your group die when a simple test would help you help them.

If I worked for the federal government, I don't know if I would walk out or not. The people there are starving. The Israelis don't care.

Gee who would have imagined civilians ending up dead during a war or not knowing that there were tunnels under their hospital or homes

No you don't understand,,,There's no proof of Biden taking money from anyone. The money trump took was NOT legitimate business practices, he was supposed to give up his business's while in office. He didn't he just kept finding ways to take money by any means necessary. I mean the man is selling the suit he was booked in by small pieces to the fools who would pay. How many suits do you think he sold by now, i'd bet more than he was wearing. Keep supporting the criminal, you'll get exactly what you v**e for.

I'm so sick and tired of the conservative jihad forcing schools to report the sexual dysphoria that some students are experiencing to their parents. Good parents don't need schools to inform them about such personal issues because good parents will get that information from the children directly. This is because good parents take the time and effort to understand their children AND foster communication and trust.

If a student is keeping his dysphoria secret from his parents it means his parents are either too aloof to notice it themselves and/or they failed to create that sense of trust. In other words, they are sh!tty parents. It happens sometimes and so do the beatings that children get from bad parents for not conforming. All the more reason why schools should NOT report such issues to parents and instead offer the trust that some students don't have with parents who happen to be dicks.
