I sometimes add turmeric to the broth. It adds a little character and turmeric is considered a medicinal product which helps control infections from nail fungus to cuts in the skin. We even feed it to the dogs if they have skin infections.

In all honestly I realy thing that humanely k*****g unwanted street dogs in India for instance and using them for food would not be a bad thing. At least then they would not end up being shipped to America to be presented fraudulently as rescue dogs that would make wonderful pets. Unsocialized, parasite ridden, never having been handled or housebroken they are almost never satisfactory pets for anyone let alone the fact that they harbor diseases that American dogs have no resistance to.

FOOD FROM CHINA.... Smithfield Farms, the largest pork producing farm in
the USA, was sold in September to China with the unanimous support of its
stockholders! The hogs will still be raised here, but slaughtered and
packaged for sale there before being sent back here. This includes labels
of:
 Morrell
 Eckric
 Krakus
 Cudahy
 Premium Hams
 Cook's
 Gwaltney

The same with many chickens. They can now be shipped there, but when they
come back all that needs to be labeled is that they WERE RAISED IN THE
USA. ...Not that they were processed in China!!!

Our great FDA at work again. The chickens will be all processed and most
sold to fast food restaurants for sandwiches, along with schools and
supermarkets. The China slaughter and processing are not nearly equal to
the requirements here for cleanliness.

*BAD FOOD*
We recently learned that Starkist Tuna is now owned by Korea, and is in
big conflict with the U.S. concerning quality, safety, and records, which
Korea refuses to produce.
I read several articles on Google about this and the safe thing to do is
to ABSOLUTELY avoid ANY fish that comes from China.

Prior to this I had just returned home from buying Albertson's 4-day
special of 4 bags of frozen tilapia for the price of one? Sure enough, on
the top of the bags, it read "farm raised", and on the bottom in small
print it said, "China".

In general, farm raised fish should not be eaten because of the high
concentration of antibiotics they are fed to prevent diseases due to being
tightly confined with other fish.

Buy wild caught fish from North America, Hawaii or New Zealand ..Read all
the way to the end.

Recently a Food Inspector on TV said he had lived overseas and he had seen
the filthy conditions their foods are raised and processed in. It is
enough to make you throw up. Many of their fish on Fish Farms are fed raw
sewage daily He said he has seen so much filth throughout their food
growing and processing that he would "never" eat any of it. They raise
this filth, put some food coloring and some flavorings on it, then they
ship it to the USA & Canada for YOU to consume and feed to YOUR families.
They have no Food & Safety Inspectors. They ship it to you to buy and to
feed to your families and friends.

Imported food we eat and the junk we buy:

Green Giant frozen vegetables are from China and so are most of Europe's
Best.

Arctic Gardens are OK, so is Birdseye.

*Never buy the grocery store garlic unless it is clearly marked from USA
or Canada*, the other stuff is grown in people poop (even worse than
chicken poop). China is the largest producer of garlic in the world;
U.S. is No. 2.

*Buy only local honey*, much honey is shipped in huge containers from
China and re-packaged here.

Cold-FX is grown and packed in China and is full of fecal bacteria. .If
the country of origin is not clearly marked, beware!

Watch out for packages which state "prepared for", "packed by" or
"imported by". We don't understand the lack of mandatory labeling,
especially on PRODUCE.

The country of origin should be clearly shown on the item in the store.

Go to the local farmers' markets in season and keep a wary eye open the
rest of the year.
Please read this very carefully, and read to the very bottom. It's
important for all of us.
How is it possible to ship food from China cheaper than having it produced
in the U.S. or Canada?

FOR EXAMPLE THE "OUR FAMILY" BRAND OF MANDARIN ORANGES SAYS RIGHT ON THE
CAN 'FROM CHINA '. - SO, for a FEW MORE CENTS, BUY THE *LIBERTY* BRAND.

*GOLD BRAND or DOLE is from CALIFORNIA*.

Beware, Costco sells canned peaches and pears in a plastic jar that come
from China.

ALL "HIGH LINER" AND MOST OTHER FROZEN FISH PRODUCTS COME FROM CHINA OR
INDONESIA. THE PACKAGE MAY SAY "PACIFIC SALMON" ON THE FRONT, BUT LOOK FOR
THE SMALL PRINT. MOST OF THESE PRODUCTS COME FROM FISH FARMS IN THE ORIENT
WHERE THERE ARE NO REGULATIONS ON WHAT IS FED TO THESE FISH.

*Recently The Montreal Gazette had an article* by the Canadian Government
on how Chinese feed the fish: They suspend chicken wire crates over the
fish ponds, and the fish feed on chicken poop.
If you search the internet about what the Chinese feed their fish, you'll
be alarmed;
e.g: growth hormones, expired antibiotic from humans etc.

Never buy any type of fish or shellfish that comes from these countries
...
 Vietnam
 China
 Philippines
Checked this out personally.
Steinfeld's Pickles are made in India - just as bad!

Another example is in canned mushrooms.

No-Name brand came from Indonesia.

Also check those little fruit cups. They used to be made in Canada in the
Niagara region until about 2 years ago. They are now packaged in China.
Most sold in Aldi stores.

While the Chinese export inferior and even toxic products, dangerous toys,
and goods to be sold in North American markets, the media wrings its
hands! Yet, at least 70% of North Americans believe that the trading
privileges afforded to the Chinese should be suspended.
Well, duh!!!
Why do you need the government to suspend trading privileges?

SIMPLY DO IT YOURSELF, CANADA and the UNITED STATES.

Simply look on the bottom of every product you buy, and if it says 'Made
in China' or 'PRC' (and that now includes Hong Kong), simply choose
another product, or none at all. You will be amazed at how dependent we
all are on Chinese products, and you will be equally amazed at what you
can do without.

THINK ABOUT THIS:

If 200 million North Americans refuse to buy just $20 each of Chinese
goods each month that's a billion dollar trade imbalance resolved in our
favor ... fast! The downside? Some Canadian/American businesses will feel
a temporary pinch from having foreign stockpiles of inventory.

Just one month of trading losses will hit the Chinese for 8% of their
North American exports. ...Then they will at least have to ask themselves
if the benefits of their arrogance and lawlessness are worth it.

Send this to everybody you know. Let's show them that we are intelligent,
and NOBODY can take us for granted.

*Start reading labels more closely and buy something else even if it cost
a few cents more*.
...And just remember, every time we eat in restaurants, we have no idea
where that food CAME FROM....
I haven't verified this. If anyone has more info ... (show quote)

This is frightening. I even look to find out where the food I feed the dogs is raised and (more importantly) processed.

Lawsuit alleges Wells Fargo unfairly shuffled Paycheck Protection Program applications
Dalvin Brown
USA TODAY

A California-based company filed a class-action lawsuit against Wells Fargo citing unfair actions against some small businesses seeking government-sponsored c****av***s relief under the Paycheck Protection Program.

In March, the Treasury Department announced the $349 billion forgivable loan plan for small businesses that helps them pay employees during the ongoing C****-** crisis. The fund ran out of money on Friday.

The lawsuit filed on behalf of small business owners on Sunday alleges that Wells Fargo unfairly prioritized businesses seeking large loan amounts, while the government's small business agency has said that PPP loan applications would be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.

The move by Wells Fargo meant that the bank would receive millions more dollars in processing fees, according to the lawsuit.

"Making matters worse, Wells Fargo concealed from the public that it was reshuffling the PPP applications it received and prioritizing the applications that would make the bank the most money," the lawsuit filed in California alleged.

Wells Fargo has said that fees generated through the program will be distributed as charitable grants to nonprofits that support small businesses.

The checks are flowing:Here's how Americans are spending c****av***s stimulus payouts

The filing against Wells Fargo is one in a series of lawsuits lodged against big banks on behalf of small businesses late Sunday. Wells Fargo denied USA TODAY's request for comment on the lawsuit.

The big bank said on April 5 that it was committed to serving small businesses with fewer than 50 employees under the PPP, which is intended to incentivize American small businesses to avoid laying off workers by offering up to $10 million in forgivable loans.

"While all businesses have been impacted by this crisis, small businesses with fewer than 50 employees and nonprofits often have fewer resources," Wells Fargo CEO Charlie Scharf said in a press release earlier this month. "Therefore, we are focusing our efforts under the Paycheck Protection Program on these groups."

Retail is struggling:Neiman Marcus could file for bankruptcy as early as this week, report says

The plaintiff alleges that evidence of Wells Fargo's foul play lies in data released by the U.S. Small Business Association. The SBA report outlines the PPP loans that were processed and indicates when the t***sactions occurred.

The plaintiffs call into question a comparison between loans processed at the start of the program – April 3 to April 13 – versus loans processed just before the program ran out of money between April 13 and April 16.

"In the last three days of the PPP—banks processed loan applications for $150,000 and under at twice the rate of larger loans," the lawsuit said.

This would allegedly suggest that banks front-loaded applications for the largest loans, otherwise "the percentage change of applications submitted in the last three days of the program would be consistent among all application types," the plaintiffs said.

The lawsuit comes just days after the sweeping business rescue program ran out of money on Friday, less than two weeks after launching, as businesses raced toward a lifeline to avoid collapsing under the financial issues caused by the p******c.

Before running dry, the program approved more than 1.6 million applications for employers.

Trump vows to end Obama-era funding for Chinese research labs

April 19, 2020
by
Jerry McCormick

Earlier this week, reports surfaced alleging that the lab in W***n, China speculated to be the origin site of the novel c****av***s received funding from the Obama administration in 2015.

But according to the Daily Caller, President Donald Trump made it very clear on Saturday that if funding is still heading to China for these research labs, it will be ended.
How the v***s originated

Fox News’ Bret Baier dropped a bombshell report mid-week alleging that credible evidence points to the source of the C****-** p******c being a v******y lab in W***n.

Several sources told Baier that the v***s is believed to have gotten out of the lab due to lax security measures. The original v***s, which is believed to naturally occur in horseshoe bats, was then t***sferred via human contact.

The rest, as they say, is history. It also surfaced that this particular lab was one of several labs that had, in part, been funded by a 2015 program that paid millions of U.S. dollars to Chinese research labs.

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has since asked the Chinese for access to that lab to help investigate if this was, in fact, the source of the outbreak.

The Chinese regime, including the director of the lab in question, has since denied that this allegation is true, according to an AFP report.
Ending funding

Whether or not Chinese labs are still getting money for their research from American taxpayers in unknown, but we do know the funding originated while Obama was president.

President Trump, after becoming aware of the funding, stated that it will be halted if our taxpayer money is still being shipped to China for research.

“We will end the grant very quickly,” he said, according to the Daily Caller. “It was granted quite a while ago. They were granted a substantial amount of money.”

When questioned about it during Saturday’s press conference, he reiterated, “We are going to look at it and take a look. But I understand it was a number of years ago. When did you hear the grant was made?”

If it is true that the disease emanated from a lab, and China — with the help of the World Health Organization — covered the t***h up, China will likely face severe consequences from members of the United Nations and even further retaliatory action from the U.S. Only time will tell what that might look like, however.
