If Trump can delrgate athority like he did by putting a Saudi dictator in charge of our military
Why not take it one step farther and put Mexico in charge of our border patrol

I don't see the problem. The Saudi oil fields were attached, they are our allies (supposedly). Before Trump sticks his nose into their business, he certainly should ask if they want our help and what help do they want.

I think he used a poor choice of words in telling us about the situation.

Maybe. I see that you have not disputed any of his comments. That indicates you accept them as true, and you exhibit mind numbing h**e.

The storm is over. I slept through it. When I woke up this morning, my alarm was blinking at me. I am so thankful for so many things it would take hours to name them. The power was back on in time for my morning coffee, a few small branches in the yard was the extent of our damage.

My prayers go out to so many people who suffered financial loss; but worse, the loss of a loved one.

Hopefully, in a couple of days I will have a list of what I am thankful for. This is my first hurricane experience, and I am a little antsy.

Right now, I am thankful for a comfortable home with my son and daughter-in-law, a full tummy, and a lot more love than I deserve.

The ABC evening news showed an American aircraft spraying water on a fire in South America (can't remember where, but it was not Brazil). A larger aircraft was getting ready to join the fight.

Picking up the phone to call isn't as bad as what I did. I would get in the car to go see her and then it would dawn on me, she isn't there

It is difficult, but we survive because we have to.

There needs to be a flashing red warning during any Opinion presentation,
during what is supposed to be NEWS.

Today I can only dream of seeing unbiased facts, untainted by personal opinions.

It truly disgusts me that the msm thinks that they need to tell me what I should think!

May I suggest ABC at 6:30pm ?

His parents died in 2013 and 2014.

Too sad, but beautiful. Halfway through I was crying. My father died when I was 6 months. For months after my mother's death, when we got home from church, I picked up the phone to call her.

This has been around quite sometime; however, a reminder can be thought inducing.

Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who has been with us for many years.

No one knows for sure how old he was, since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape.

He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as:

Knowing when to come in out of the rain;

Why the early bird gets the worm;

Life isn't always fair;

And maybe it was my fault.

Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don't spend more than you can earn) and reliable strategies (adults, not children, are in charge).

His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well-intentioned but overbearing regulations were set in place. Reports of a 6-year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch; and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition.

Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the job that they themselves had failed to do in disciplining their unruly children.

It declined even further when schools were required to get parental consent to administer sun lotion or an aspirin to a student; but could not inform parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an a******n.

Common Sense lost the will to live as the churches became businesses; and criminals received better treatment than their victims.

Common Sense took a beating when you couldn't defend yourself from a burglar in your own home and the burglar could sue you for assault.

Common Sense finally gave up the will to live, after a woman failed to realise that a steaming cup of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in her lap, and was promptly awarded a huge settlement.

Common Sense was preceded in death:-

by his parents, T***h and Trust,

by his wife, Discretion,

by his daughter, Responsibility,

and by his son, Reason.

He is survived by his 5 stepchildren:-

I Know My Rights

I Want It Now

Someone Else Is To Blame

I'm A Victim
Pay me for Doing Nothing

Not many attended his funeral because so few realised he was gone. If you still remember him, pass this on. If not, join the majority and do nothing.
This has been around quite sometime; however, a re... (show quote)

We should have a common sense day. On that day every newspaper in the country should print this in bold letters on the front page. Just picture it!!!
