9 to 0 should tell you something. The census provides the state legislatures with the demographics to establish state congressional districts (gerrymandering). That is a states rights matter. The SCOTUS refused to get involved in state politics, the decision upheld the concept of Federalism. IOW, the decision was constitutional, not political.

Russia is strengthening support and alliances with Venezuela, Cuba, and Iran. Back in March Russia sent 100 troops to Venezuela, Trump supposedly told Putin to get out...which Putin ignored.

Recently Russia sent a missile cruiser to Cuba, while taking a position against the US and pledging to help them against bad US policies. They also sent a military plane to Venezuela. Russia has apparently locked down the oil in Venezuela with loans.

Iran is an ally of Cuba and Venezuela, and Putin weighed into the tensions between Trump and Iran with a public statement right before Trump's "ready to attack but called it off" that it would be stupid for the US to attack Iran. I read that as a threat, not a philosophical comment on Trump's intelligence.

So with Russia taking sides with Cuba, Venezuela, and Iran, it puts Trump in a position of having to cave in on his talk of attacking, Oh, and China is apparently in the mix against the US as well. These articles give some historical background to the alliances that have developed here.

Hispanics flourishing in Trump economy
Hispanic Approval of Trump Surges to 50% as Employment Sets Record

Trump's real record on race may surprise you

One lesson I've learned from working for Donald Trump is that you have to pay attention to what he does, not what he says. The left and the media are on a rampage accusing Trump of being a ‎r****t and N**i and Ku Klux Klan sympathizer because of his words in response to the horrid events in Charlottesville, Va.

Let's all accept two t***hs: First, that every sane person denounces the ‎violence and racial hatred displayed in Charlottesville by far-right, fringe w***e s*********ts. And second, that Trump should have shown better judgment in his seeming defense of these crazed groups carrying around torches and Confederate f**gs as if celebrating a darker period in our history.

Words matter for sure, but actions do speak louder than words. L*****ts believe that good intentions are more important than results. If you meant well and your heart is in the right place, that's what really matters, according to this creed. As Bill Clinton put it so famously: "I feel your pain." And that was enough.

No one cared more about the plight of b***k A******ns than Barack Obama — our first African-American president — who won well more than 90 percent of the black v**e. But the sad paradox of Obama's presidency is that a president who was going to lift up black America economically didn't deliver. From 2009 to 2015, the incomes of b***k A******ns fell by more than $900 per family adjusted for inflation.

So far under Trump, median family incomes have risen by more than $1,000, according‎ to Sentier Research and based on Census Bureau numbers. These numbers are not broken down by race, but it's a pretty good bet that black incomes have risen with those of other races under Trump.

What about other metrics of black economic progress under Trump? It's early for sure, but we have some preliminary results since E******n Day, when the stock market started its latest bull market run.

The black unemployment rate has fallen by a full percentage point in the last year, black labor force participation is up and the number of b***k A******ns with a job has risen by 600,000 from last year. Preliminary data show black wages and incomes are up since the e******n.

The rate of job growth per month for b****s under Trump has so far been 40 percent higher than the monthly average under ‎Obama. Trump has averaged nearly 30,000 new black jobs per month. That's especially remarkable because Obama was elected when employment was way down.

Another issue that is critically important to black and Hispanic economic progress is good schools. Trump is advancing the idea of school choice so that every child can attend a quality school, public or private. In cities such as Washington, D.C., and Milwaukee, the children who benefit from voucher and scholarship programs are predominantly black. Trump wants to increase by tenfold the number of black children who benefit from these vouchers and scholarships.

The goal here is to give every poor or minority child the same range of education choices that wealthy families have.

The same people who denounce Trump for being a r****t hypocritically oppose Trump's plan for better school options for black children. I have heard many liberal commentators compare Trump to George Wallace, the late Alabama governor who defended school segregation and stood in front of the white public schools with armed guards to keep the black children out.

Now we have liberals and teachers unions figuratively standing in front of the high-quality white private schools like modern-day George Wallaces trying to keep black children out.

Trump also wants more infrastructure spending, more energy jobs and more apprenticeship programs so our youth have access to better jobs and better training. Disproportionately, b****s and other minorities will benefit from these programs, because fewer have the financial capability to go to a four-year college.

So is Trump a r****t who doesn't care about the future of b***k A******ns? Let's face it. He's no Jack Kemp when it comes to talking about race and healing wounds with his words. But Trump is creating more jobs and higher incomes for b****s and other minorities and is trying to give a better education to every disadvantaged black child in America. That is a pretty impressive civil rights record.

We do it because the 1 % get 775 dollars a day for each person.
It would be much cheaper to give them rooms in the Hilton hotels and let them charge their meals! This will go down as the lowest point in American history.
What did Jesus say about the little ones or do you think Christ was only thinking of white kids.
Do you really want to know why we detain thousands... (show quote)

A Migrant Detention center placed a $200,000 order for beds from Wayfair, Inc, a Massachusetts furniture manufacturer. The beds were for the kids. Employees of the company told the CEO not to accept the order. They threatened to walk off the job if he did. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez picked up on the story and propped it up as a sign of "solidarity" within the far-left movement.

Tell us again, who gives a damn about the kids?

Whether he wants to or not, Mueller is slated to testify before Congress on July the 17th. This way there can still be No Collusion, No Collusion, no matter what Mueller had to say.
As SC, Robert Mueller headed a 20 member team of l*****t democrat "investigators". The point man, the lead investigator, was Andrew Weissmann. The others had different tasks. The Mueller Report is a collection of materials gathered by the group. The Mueller Report could accurately be called the MRINO--Mueller Report In Name Only. IOW, Mueller's name is on a report synthesized and written by Weissmann. SO, it is highly doubtful that Robert Mueller is intimate with 448 pages of details in "his" report. He most likely has a working knowledge of its contents, but his ability to respond to every point in the report is the big question. He sure as hell didn't memorize the thing.

OTH, committee republicans such as Jordan, Gohmert and Nunes are going to have copies in front of them with highlighted sections. Mueller will also have a copy and he will be turning pages like a monkey on amphetamines when the questions come.

Update: This just in. Committee members will not be limited to just asking questions about the infamous report. Mueller said he will not respond to any questions not specific to the report.

Blade presents the polar opposite of moral, principled goodness in his defense of the big lies.
Those seven astronauts were extraordinary human beings, the best of the best. All of them except Kolpana Chowla were officers in their nation's armed forces, they served at the tip of their country's spear. They were compassionate, selfless professionals who loved their families and their fellow man. They were most definitely moral, principled and good. Everyone they worked with loved them and they loved everyone they worked with. The mission controllers at the Johnson Space Center who manned the center during the tragedy were close friends of each and every one of them. It is heartbreaking to watch videos of the mission controllers when they finally realized their friends were lost. They handled their emotions with extraordinary grace and professionalism.

Polar opposites my ass.

Ilan Ramon, Colonel, Israeli Air Force fighter pilot.

The Israeli and American governments cosponsored a project out of Tel Aviv University, “The Mediterranean Israeli Dust Experiment.” The experiment was to be conducted in space. NASA selected Colonel Ramon as a payload specialist and in 1998, he began training at the Johnson Space Center, Houston, Texas. Ramon became Israel's first astronaut.

He was assigned to the crew of STS 107 (Columbia). His crew mates were Rick Husband CDR, William McCool PLT, Michael Anderson Payload CDR, Laurel Clark Mission Specialist, David Brown Mission Specialist, and Kalpana Chowla Mission Specialist (Kalpana was born and raised in India where she earned her B.S. degree in aeronautical engineering and later she earned a Masters at the University of Texas-Arlington, then earned a doctorate in Aerospace engineering at University of Colorado)

Ramon, whose mother and grandmother were survivors of Auschwitz, was asked by S. Isaac Mekel, director of development at the American Society for Yad Vashem, to take an item from Yad Vashem aboard STS-107. Ramon carried with him a pencil sketch, Moon Landscape, drawn by 16-year-old Petr Ginz, who died in Auschwitz. Ramon also took with him a microfiche copy of the Torah given to him by Israeli president Moshe Katsav and a miniature Torah scroll (from the Holocaust) that was given him by Prof. Yehoyachin Yosef, a Bergen Belsen survivor.

On the mission in space, Ramon observed the Jewish Sabbath.

On January 16, 2003, the Columbia launched. 82 seconds into the flight a 1.7 lb section of foam insulation broke away from the ET fuel tank and struck the shuttle's left wing. The impact blew a 16 inch hole in leading edge panel #8. This damage was lethal. After a 16 day flight in space during which the astronauts completed all scientific experiments, on Feb 1, 2003, the shuttle was destroyed during reentry. All seven aboard perished.

Here is a 20 minute video shot by Colonel Ramon during the mission and days before the tragedy. This video shows the astronauts going about their business and having some fun during down time.

I post this here to show that seven human beings regardless of race, nationality and religion can come together as explorers in a common cause for all mankind.

.

Colonel Ilan Ramon.

I'm not so sure about that, there are some Republicans on the House Judiciary and House Select Committee on Intelligence who won't give scumbag Mueller a pass. Jim Jordan and Louie Gohmert on the Judiciary and Devin Nunes, and the Texans, Will Hurd and John Ratcliffe on the Intel committee.

In April last year, Louie Gohmert wrote this 48 page report: Robert Mueller UNMASKED.. Hard to believe Louie would let this guy slide.

And then there is Devin Nunes. He has truckloads of dirt on Mueller and the SC investigation.
