The purpose of the federal government is to do the work of the NATION, not the work of the people. The people are to do the work of the people. If they need help, that is part of the role of city, county and state governments. The feds have no real authority to provide health care, jobs, food, medicine, or any other specific things for its citizens. Their authority has to do with maintenance of infrastructure, protection of the nation via foreign affairs, the military, the CIA, and the Border Patrol. this all began with w.w. wilson we should repeal the 17 amandment ,the income tax ,and do away with the fed.
