At least Boehner and company lost for now. Nobody said they won't try again.
Following is part of the weekly newsletter from Tim Huelskamp and there are some others in the House who side with him against Boehner and Cantor. It seems that too many voters side with Huelskamp for the fools to take a chance.
House Leadership Pulls Trick Legislation bill that would have Funded ObamaCareIf anything was clear during my dozens of town halls and other meetings during August, it was this Kansans do not want ObamaCare. They believe as I do that if it is not good enough for President Obama, Vice President Biden, Secretary Sebelius nor their families, it is not good enough for the rest of America. If it is not good enough for most federal workers, nor good enough for Congressional staff, nor good enough for labor unions, why should it be good enough for the rest of us?
However, this past week, the Republican House Leadership attempted a procedural trick to pull a fast one and fund ObamaCare after October 1st. Thankfully though, after a huge Exempt America Rally at the Capitol -- and a flood of phone calls and e-mails from all across the country - Leadership backed down for now. Here is a chance to hear Huelskamp telling the story about how Boehner and Cantor tried to snow the House into voting for Obamacare. Pay attention to how Huelskamp feels about Obamacare along with most of his constituents. He is fighting for all of us.

I hope the U.S. House at least can keep our promises if Congress doesnt want ObamaCare for its staff or ourselves we shouldnt force it on the rest of the nation.
