I have a great wife and love her very much but I wouldn't get married again for all the tea in China.
My husband has been gone (deceased) for 3 years. I remember a friend of his asking if he had a chance to change anything in his life what would it be. He looked at his friend and said that he would have finished his degree and become a teacher. His friend asked if he would have married me and to this my husband replied that he would do that all over again, but if I should die before him then he would never remarry. That conversation has stuck with me. And to be truthful, I would never marry again either. Some of us are lucky, like you, we find love and it is enough for a lifetime.

Good advise guys. After three marriages and half a mill in dollars lost I haven't remarried in 26 yrs. I analyzed why I married and during those 3 marriages was I happier than I am single. The answer was always more happy single. At 71 I am extremely happy; but, I have oe weakness, Ladies!!! God bless they are here or we would not be. The truth is I am still looking for the one who has more money than I. That is a game changer, maybe. cause I have my stuff and ladies like to make their nests even though they can't make babies. I don't want anyone messing in my stuff!
Yes it is Ginny. Sorry for your loss.

It is one thing to be open minded, it is another thing to be so open minded you let your brain fall out. I listed to him last night and again this morning, and then read the transcripts. The man is insincere, he is arrogant, and simply unqualified to make decisions that will have long range affects on the entire world.
I would have to say, that, at the very least, it was an extremely disappointing speech. There was nothing noteworthy, or even new, that would have gotten attention from anyone looking for a solution to this current mess in the Middle East. It sounded, to me, like a rehash of the information made public these past few days. Nothing to hang hopes onto. No encouraging words.:thumbdown:
It was typical Obama crap, a deep belief that his oratory will sway voters or obfuscate the issue enough to MAKE HIM LOOK GOOD. He is, along with being the worst president this country has ever had, the most arrogantly misguided person to ever hold high office. No pun intended.

Ahhhh geeee, now I am blushing. Southern women still blush when given such sweet compliments.
You know when Ray and I had a tiff of some nature, he always let me have the last words and that was "yes, love, you're the boss." Settled everything, and I normally got a dinner and movie in the deal. Worked for almost 40 years.

Ginnyt, now, don't you go breaking Saltys' heart :!:
Jay Carney said today that the US is sending weapons to the rebels. The same ones who are killing Christians and children.

Now, may we hear from her on the same subject? :-)
First, you can not trust anything any members of this administration say but I don't doubt this one because Obama has consistently fought for the Mulsems. Second, He will do whatever obfuscates or destroys a given situation, i.e. Obamacare to medical system, race baiting instead of relationship building, etc. I never can tell whether he is intentionally destroying the country or if he's really that stupid.

Salty is a widower. He may be well housebroken as he has told us his wife was a psychologist.
