I guess you do not how ignorant that statement "guns do not kill people" is when 20 5 and 6 year olds would be alive today without a gun. There is no way that Adam could have killed 20 kids within 5 minutes without an assault rifle. That is just how stupid, ignorant, illiterate those statements are.

I believe you are anencephalic, without an ounce of grey matter for making such stupid remarks.

My brother-in-law is a sheriff in CO and they want gun safety laws. I have neighbors who are law enforcement officers and they all want gun safety laws. It makes their job easier, because dealing with murders is time consuming and drains their resources.

You see, when ever a GOP governor is in control the first thing they cut is education, fire fighters and law enforcement officers.

You are most likely reading the NRA's justification for giving guns to everyone even the blind. The NRA can't sell their own rhetoric without lies, fantasty and conspiracy theories.

This country... the most advanced country in the world cannot solve 200,000 murders every year because they lack the resources. So that is 200,000 criminals that are on the loose.

I am just going to walk right past the "pencil" remark, that is just plain childish.
I guess you do not how ignorant that statement &qu... (show quote)

Actually, a gun is an inanimate object and CANNOT function alone.

Your ignorance continues to glow for all to see. Adam Lanza DID NOT use an assault weapon. The National Firearms Act of 1934 restricts ownership of assault weapons to only those approved by Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (BAFTE).

Did you see a single cite I made from the NRA? The answer would be, NO.

Your brother-in-law must be in Denver. Again, your ignorance shines for all to see. 98% of the CO Sheriffs DID NOT support the gun laws passed. He is probably scarcer of the inanimate object he is required to carry for his job.

Try this. Pack your pitiful brain; move to Chicago, with VERY strict gun laws; an educational system with about a 45% graduation rate; police who will not go into many neighborhoods and be happy with your free rent, food, phone and every other thing I pay for.

Typical anti-gunner. Supports abortion, and considers the death penalty for murderers "cruel and unusual punishment." Kind of nit picky about what constitutes murder. No more than a nodding acquaintance with reality. Brakes for Hobbits.

I have family members who are in Law Enforcement. I have many friends who are officers. None, count them, zero, are in favor of the "reasonable gun control" you idiots espouse. Two hundred thousand murders? Are you insane, or just mathematically challenged? You have obviously never owned a firearm, or used one. Your statement that 20 children could not have been killed in 5 minutes without an assault rifle is ludicrous. You can kill 20 people in 90 seconds with a single shot rifle if you know what you are doing. Oh yes, your background checks? Already got 'em. Forty thousand would be illegal buyers caught. Less than 50 prosecuted. Less than 30 convictions. Lack of background checks is not the problem. The same DOJ which supports Draconian gun control can do no better than 30 convictions out of 40,000 chances. Their answer? More gun control laws that won't be enforced. Did your mother have any children that lived?

You are a frigin genius, now I understand why this country dropped from 1st place in education to 16th. It seems like the rights attire for the evening is skinny pants and little fairy shoes and that must be cramping your style and making you cranky.

"Friggin'" is the proper spelling. If you wish to excoriate the educational system, your own grammatical shortcomings might be a good place to start. As far as the correct (not "rights") attire is concerned, thpoken like a true perthon of unthertain gender.

everything about obama's past is a lie. he has hidden his records, lied about his school records, has no witnesses about any of his claims except for the fact of his islamic religion.

as far as gun control - it is a liberal dream. there are more people killed by cops, killed by hammers, killed by drunken parents, by pintos, by mexican drug runners who got their guns from eric holder, than have been killed by gun wielding criminals with assault rifles. think i'm fooling? try http://www.fbi.gov/stats-services/crimestats

Don't confuse these people with facts. You will never convince a Liberal that he or she is wrong, and any presentation of real statistics simply causes them an episode of cognitive dissonance.

Small minded for sure, but the 624 is its weight in pounds, as evidenced by its repeated and apparently jealous skinnypants posts. haha

On Background checks, The reason most of those not prosecuted is that most are mistakes, government mistakes! The real criminals steal their guns, or buy them from thugs that do steal them! So much for protection BY GUN LAW! Gun laws are intended for one reason ONLY....disarming the citizens for a communist takeover! The liberals know they don't work! Therefore they are not intended to reduce crime! Just look at those advocating confiscation! So: all those wanting to disarm us are our enemies! Bent on our destruction and enslavement!

The 2nd amendment protects your freedom but does not protect you or your family from harm which is why firearms are the right way to preserve personal freedom and safety. No one can guarantee your safety or that of your family 100% of the time. Like Insurance companies who only guarantee 80% and you have to take the 20% loss, the Police Depts. expect you to absorb some of the cost of preserving your safety since they too cannot guaranty your safety 100% of the time Liberalism is a mental disorder and imposes it will on society because personal freedom threatens them. Liberals impose their will (homosexuals, illegal aliens etc) by law and if not by law then by imposing rules, regulations, policies and procedures on the majority of the population to force them to accept what the najority would normally reject as a personal freedom.

Just keep celebrating. This is one of the many reasons no one is taking your so-called pro-life movement serious, as a matter of fact it is just down right laughable verging on the ridiculous.

The right demands "boots on the ground" at the hint of a war, guns all around even for blind, pediatricians in Florida can't even ask parents of a child how they store their guns, and the reasons just keep piling up. So, just keep celebrating.

Like Frank Schaeffer said in his book "Crazy for God", this so-called pro-life movement is really an anti-choice misogynistic movement. If you were really pro-life you would be anti-NRA and would not think everyone should be armed with an assault rifle and a 100 round magazine.

Having gun safety laws is not infringing upon your 2nd Amendment, it is saving lives. Since guns are the 2nd leading cause of death among our children and teenagers; taxpayers paid $100 billion for gun violence in 2011 and $111 billion in 2012, you really should be thinking about gun safety or the nation will go broke paying for this atrocity.

The people who signed for the recall were paid $3.00 for their signatures, so they were really being bribed. So much for honesty in recall elections.
Just keep celebrating. This is one of the many rea... (show quote)

????? How is the pro-life movement connected with this? And are you telling me that a bunch of people who ordinarily would have voted for gun control and backed the recalled politicians were convinced to switch for three bucks? Or are you saying that gun rights advocates, who are ordinarily too busy providing for their families and don't have the time to bother with petitions were hooked by three bucks? Something about your post doesn't sound quite right to me.

I realize this occurred on the eve of 9/11, and the Syria debate rages on, but I haven't heard a peep on CNN about this or the bike rally in DC.
