I hope that all the other cities on Obummer's whistle-stop tour does the same. He sure knows how to milk the public tit. Congress should pass a law that incumbent presidents be charged for the use of Air Force One. :hunf:
After his first election, when I found out that the CEO of Costco was one of Obummer's biggest contributors, I cancelled my membership at Costco. Still makes me feel good.

Showing up to see Obummer would be like looking at a dirty diaper. They're both full of s**t.

I was very surprised when I read costco pulled "America where would the world be without her" off of the shelves.

But now today I read that Ben Carson is on their board of directors. I'm sure that won't last much longer.

I wonder under what circumstances they 1st became unionized?

I was surprised about that and here is Dr. Ben Carson's statement.

For the sake of disclosure, I should reveal that I have been a member of the Costco board of directors for 15 years. There are people on the board of several political persuasions, and we are all friendly and work well together because politics plays no role in business decisions. In the years that I have had the privilege of serving on the board, I have never witnessed a single incident where politics influenced a business decision. Not only would that be unwise, but it would lead to mass resignations and membership cancellations, including yours truly.

Apparently he was on the board long before their CEO became enamored with Obummer.

I can only assume he expressed no politically motivated business decisions prior to them pulling that book from their shelves.

Honestly, what are they 3rd or 4th largest retailer in the country and they have made no politically based business decisions.

BS !!!!!!

They all must make politically based decisions all the time.

He also said this in the same article.

Because of Sinegal's public support of Obama, the recent withdrawal of Dinesh D'Souza's book "America: Imagine a World Without Her" from Costco warehouses nationwide, just before the release of the movie by the same title, was widely interpreted as a political move -- the movie is very critical of the president. I spoke to current Costco CEO Craig Jelinek, who was so absorbed in the business of the company that he had been unaware of the movie prior to the resultant backlash. He readily admitted that those responsible for managing the limited book space in Costco warehouses should have been aware of the imminent release of the movie and retained the book in anticipation of a brisk stimulation of book sales, which had been sluggish.

Sometimes you have to separate politics from other aspects of life. For instance I'm a huge Jimmy Buffett fan even though he's a big Dim supporter. He's a great entertainer, shrewd businessman, and a successful author. Nothing wrong with that. I don't agree with his political leanings but when I'm sitting around the pool drinking a beer I normally have the Buffett classics on.

Sinegal sure is and I agree with you about Costco. If Dr. Ben decides to run you can bet he will drop his Costco relationship. You did note that there has bee a change in CEOs there. I still won't shop there. :(
