Normally trump's go to play is delay delay delay...courts seem to be fully aware of this which has them fast tracking motions in order not to delay proceedings.
Now of course the clock that trump believes can save him is to delay until closer to elections, at which time he of course will try to maintain that this is all about going after him to keep him from winning.
Actually here's the reality, it's about keeping him from running at all, because what kind of morons would vote for someone with the legal mess he has coming at him.
I don't even think the presidency would save him at this point, it turned into too big a mess, he can't make criminal charges go away just because he's president.
And why should any court looking to prosecute him for criminal violations grant him any deference whatsoever? Get it rolling, let the games begin.
