This is such a sad article. Protestants need to be just as concerned because if the Catholic Church goes down the drain you're in great trouble too. Already you're inundated with the acceptance of the LGBTQ mob. Faithful Catholic clergy & laity better stand up for their faith immediately. You can form under Faithful Bishops and not be guilty of schism. Those who depart from the faith are the ones who commit schism because they separate the people of God for their own purposes.

Once we get raptured up, it’ll be the one world religion.

We Orthodox don't put a lot of stock in the Rapture, it's a theology crafted in Scotland in the mid 180o as best as can I recall.

What’s Thessalonians 4:17 mean then?

The thought that the “left” means we go through Jacobs trouble is wrong. We are simply “left” alive at the moment Jesus calls us. The prior verses explain it.
13But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen [b]asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. 14For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who [c]sleep in Jesus.
15For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are [d]asleep. 16For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 18Therefore comfort one another with these words.
Pretty literal explanation of the rapture of the saints.

This is not a discussion on the Rapture, you're free to accept it or not, rather this is a more important topic on what is happening with our RC brethren. It's folly to believe that if the RC Church goes woke on the LGBTQ dilemma, that abortion, already a highly charged subject will be next, then female ordinations providing a loss of their holy orders and then they're nothing more than the Episcopal Church, a whitewashed sepulchre. A full force persecution of Christianity will follow if a woke Catholic Church goes down. It's time to put differences aside and raise up as one voice.

I totally agree. However, I believe that once the rapture occurs, the Christians are gone, including the ones in the Catholic Church, and all that’s left are those who weren’t believers. With a possible exception, based on the fact that there’s a second chance for the unclean to celebrate the Passover after ritual cleansing. Then the leaders of the Catholic Church will follow the lead of the rogue pope who I think will be the false prophet of the end times.
Maybe I’m wrong, but it seems like a good understanding of what the Bible says will be.
No offense intended, I assume you are a follower of Jesus.

You want some insights to the "LGBTQ mob", read this:
Rabbi Jonathan Cahn: The Return of the Gods Is it possible that behind what is taking place in America and the world lies a mystery that goes back to the gods of the ancient world…and that they now have returned?
The Return of the Gods is the most explosive book Jonathan Cahn has ever written. It is so explosive and so revealing that no description here could do it justice. Jonathan Cahn is known for revealing the stunning mysteries, many from ancient times, that lie behind and are playing out in the events of our times. But with The Return of the Gods, Cahn takes this to an entirely new level and dimension.

Very well reasoned...
The Orthodox church may very well become the last bastion of righteous Christianity...
Not all together that surprising really...
And yet another reason for Christians to look to their oldest traditions...
