Little shows more courage than standing up for your own principles. The one thing that does is standing up to a mob attacking a persecuted minority. She is doing both!

A one-woman filibuster has shut down the Nebraska legislature for the last three weeks. State Sen. Machaela Cavanaugh (D) has followed through on her promise to filibuster every bill that comes before the legislature this year even the ones she supports after a bill that would outlaw gender-affirming care for minors advanced out of committee. Cavanaugh has spent entire days of her filibuster discussing everything but the bill, including her favorite Girl Scout cookies, Omaha's best doughnuts, and the plot of the movie "Madagascar." "If this legislature collectively decides that legislating hate against children is our priority, then I am going to make it painful painful for everyone," Cavanaugh said. "I will burn the session to the ground over this bill" Today marks the halfway point of the 90-day session, and not a single bill has passed thanks to Cavanaugh's persistence. In Nebraska's unicameral legislature, there are 17 Democrats and 32 Republicans. Since it's the only state to have a single legislative chamber, a filibuster there is more impactful than anywhere else in the U.S. because there's no alternate chamber to pass legislation.

I thought Democrats were of the opinion that the filibuster was racist and needs to be abolished🤔🤔🤔

Still...Nothing says democracy more than a single individual curtailing the will of the people

This is typical of the hysterical, radical, obnoxious and decadent women found only on the Left. They have done more to devalue the true worth of women than anything else.

Let me try to wrap my head around this one, Kyvvie.
So....if I give my 5 year old grandson a cigarette, or a beer, I'll be prosecuted because he's too young. Right?
However, according to you, I should allow him to make the decision to cut his junk off, take hormones, and physically alter his body because he thinks he wants that, or, YOU want that for him. Right?
Please explain......

You would not say that if a Republican was doing it. No principles here, just trying to force her ideology on everyone else.

No however if they insist they are a girl not a boy and they don’t want to live as a boy shouldn’t you be able to take them to doctors psychologist and specialists to determine if they are suffering gender desporia and allow medical professionals with parents and child to chose what if any treatment is appropriate? Would the kid offing themselves as a teen be a preferred result?

I guess it is possible to be so completely obsessed with depravity that you would confuse helping children mutilate themselves with courage.

Seems to me that a huge number of children who undergo gender reassignment wind up committing suicide...

You know, when I was a kid, the worry was that I would off myself in a motorcycle, or car wreck. Not whether I wondered about my gender. This is all bullscat that you people have created. It's all on you. Period. A boy is a boy, and a girl is a girl.
If they want to swap, that's up to them when they reach the age of accountability.

Folks, have you noticed how every new psychological abnormality conjured up by those "professionals" who provide excuses for aberrant human behavior is eventually worn as a badge of honor, envied, even desired by those needing excuses? No one today without a psychological crutch is normal.

One thing you are really really good at, Kevyn, is picking losers.

Lot's of girls go through a Tomboy stage and it's not abnormal for a little boy to play with his Sisters doll now and then, We all laughed about it and watched them grow out of it. Now we physically mutilate them and the clinic makes a ton of money while utterly ruing the life of that kid.

God help us.
