While in the midst of a 6 to 8 inch predicted snow.. I did get home last night.. great to be here..

However.. Seems some sort of anomaly kept it snowing harder, longer and is still coming down. .. My fine neighbor plowed us out about 11 pm but we can hadley see that it happened.. and we got phone calls . I think they wondered if we died or something..

Anyway a bit more than predicted.. measured the snow on the deck table and 28 inches.. Not all from overnight but much of it is..

Brother in law called to tell me his snow is all melted.. down in the deep south of Wisconsin.. the heat keeps snow at a wild story only..

But keep in mind, spring is comine... LOL..

We live about a half hour south of Detroit. Saw my first robin yesterday. Spring is coming. 🙂

I love spotting the early robins.. My wife insists not all of our robins fly south. and she has shown me a couple lost robins eating mountain ash berries in December.. but I still think of them as the best sign of spring..

south of Detroit.. good number of years ago, read a book in which the hero escaped Canada by driving south to the US. before that, I never realized that geography made it possible to do so.. Amused me for days..

Look at a map! The province of Ontario extends south to lake Erie. Americans are geographically ignorant. Most can't even find their hometown on a map.

It is like the little section of Minnesota that can only be accessed by land by going through Canada. You probably never notice that before either.

Be glad you aren't living in the Sierras or even the San Gabriels in So Cal. Record amount of snow in many areas. You can't fool Mother Nature. Global warming hoax, as if humans could control the weather.
