I'm a virulent non-smoker. There are still restaurants with smoking sections; I won't eat in them.

I don't smoke either-- I quit when they went up to 55 cents a pack-- too damn expensive

I stopped smoking over fifty years ago. It is the only product sold in the US legally, that when used according to instruction, Will KILL YOU! I think it should be outlawed!

I want nothing to do with tobacco- I have not touched in 50 years myself. It might as well be outlawed at 8 bucks a pack now for cigs .

How about suspension from the section for those who refuse to respect that

Yes but a warning first-- if unheeded a suspension for 30 days

Smedley_buzkill, I'm with you on this one. A decade or so ago the annual death rate from cigarettes was 400,000. I have no idea what it is now. My father died from smoking at age 67. Why the nation didn't ban tobacco years ago Ill never understand. I guess a lot of people will go crazy and scream that they are losing one more right. Let's not forget the both state governments, and the federal government outlaw drugs that in many cases are less dangerous than tobacco.
Look at it this way, if you are a regular smoker, you are most likely an addict. Outlawing smoking tobacco preserves your right to be free of addiction.
It may interest you to know that VP Pence was big tobacco's boy in Congress.
