There is no denying the disaster that is Cook County. The majority of Illinois' crime is committed in the Democrat-run county, which also frequently votes to increase taxes on the rest of the state.

As a result, throughout each election cycle, the remainder of Illinois is held hostage. Enough is enough! Currently, a number of Illinois counties are attempting to secede and create their own state.

Voters in 27 counties in the state approved non-binding referendums on election day 2022 requesting elected officials to take part in discussions aimed towards severing ties with the State of Illinois.

New Illinois is a nonprofit organization that educates Illinois citizens about their right to pursue the creation of new state from the State of Illinois. They are seeking a state split, following the process provided in the U.S. Constitution (Article IV, Sec. 3). This is the same way that West Virginia split from Virginia. This divide is not between Democrats and Republicans—it is urban vs. rural, small town and suburban.

The solution to this problem is a state split. By splitting Illinois into two states, urban and rural areas can govern themselves according to their own needs and values. This would free up rural communities from being forced to subsidize Chicago's problems, and it would allow Chicago to enact its own policies without having to worry about how they will impact the rest of the state. A state split is the only way to solve this problem once and for all. I actually think that several states need to do this.

It's time for a change in Illinois. We cannot continue to be held hostage by Cook County any longer. A state split is the only solution that will allow us to govern ourselves according to our own needs and values.

They're doing something similar in Oregon. I would like to it happen to California & Washington State, too.

Oregon seems to be two states--Rural Oregon and City Oregon . The difference between the two is night and day

Yes, but certain counties in Oregon want to annex to Idaho. It was voted on in the midterm election but I haven't heard anything of the results. Probably the lefties voted 'No' so it wouldn't pass.

One of the definitions of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results! You keep voting in Democrats and expect different results! So now you want to split the state in half? Sounds like another definition of insanity!

👍 I hear you, but I don't live in any of those states - and I rarely vote Democrat. I think the last Democrat I voted for was JFK.

They know their end is coming, if, Trump gets re-elected. End of story. You might enjoy this story also. The three times the Left has attacked the Capital. And the punishment for the perps. Of course, Kev will disagree. After all, it's published by WND. They posted everything they have on the Left in this one. This is just one edition. And they have been attacked for decades and are still standing. Their Christian, so they must be destroyed for printing the truth. Something the Left can't tolerate and survive. Enjoy, it is fascinating reading.

Cook County will never allow their tax base to secede. Does anyone really think Chicago could fund themselves without the whole of Illinois taxes?

👍 Unfortunately, Trump's popularity is waning, so he may not win again. DeSantis is way ahead of Trump in the polls. That's probably why Trump was making disparaging remarks at DeSantis.

WND is fighting to stay alive. Joseph Farah has been sending out emails and asking for donations. They've been dragged through the mill by Demonrats attacking the truth!!!

Seems like a ‘solution to Cook County’s mental pollution.’
And yes, possible Maricrappy County in Arizona should be it’s own “State of Disrepair.”
And my favorite - Alaska, should be it’s own COUNTRY.

And, like Alaska, Hawaii should be its own country, too. It was, at one time, and it should be again.

Absolutely. Our corrupt government used the press & dirty tactics to make Hawaii a state.
It was operating well as a monarchy.

Hawaii was so pristine before they were forced to become a state. Now there's hotels from one end to the other. That was probably the reason why the globalists pushed to make Hawaii a state.
