Sonny Magoo Loc: Where pot pie is boiled in a kettle

Thanksgiving dinner is coming up here in the USA and my wife is disappointed because the neighborhood is beginning to look a lot like Christmas. ( I'm nowhere near Buffalo) with the deck the halls outdoors.
No money in Thanksgiving I guess.

Giftmas, the season of guilt and greed brought to you by corporate America. Think of all the family thanksgiving dinners ruined by places like Walmart ordering workers to come in on the holiday to be abused by marauding door busters. A sick abuse of sacred holidays in the name of corporate greed.

Sense you preach against corporate greed then you will not in the future give or accept any gifts for any occasion.

I give plenty of gifts, all of them are purchased from craftsman and artisans or precious things I have acquired throughout my life. As an example I built a toolbox that I filled with my grandfathers woodworking tools for my niece who is studying boat building.

You make no purchases of gifts from evil corpoeate America. Is that what you want us to believe?

Now THAT is an awesome gift, Keyvn! Good for you! I'm sure your niece will love and appreciate those legacy tools, and the love you put into making the tool box for them.

I suggest you reflect upon it. Rather than some trinket made by child labor halfway around the world support an artisan in your neighborhood or give personal treasures to those you love.

I think it is a good idea. I should practice that more than I do.

My family quit giving gifts a long time ago. Are gifts are being with the people we love. I suggest you reflect upon it. You never show any here. Usually hate.

That, too, I agree with, Keyvn. All people have both good and bad qualities. It would be nice to see less of your bad and more of the good.
