You guys who live outside of Wisconsin probably won't see this on your local news--and the networks (hidden in Obama's pocket) sure as hell won't report it--but here is what is happening in Wisconsin this weekend thanks to the "empty suit" in the White House. Remember, the sequester was HIS personal idea!!

This week, the Experimental Aircraft Association is holding their annual fly-in and conference in Oshkosh, Wisconsin at Wittman Field. During this week, Oshkosh becomes the busiest airport in the WORLD. This thing is HUGE and has been held every year for a number of years. The expected attendance this year will hit over a half million people from 60 countries and 5 continents. The federal fuel tax on aviation fuel sold JUST at Oshkosh will exceed $300,000 (this does not count all the extra fuel tax collected at the Appleton, Green Bay and Milwaukee airports because of this event).
Now here comes Obama. He 1) orders all military planes that took part in the air show GROUNDED (although he found $100 MILLION to fund his personal family vacation to Africa), then 2) he has the FAA tell Oshkosh they have to anti up an additional $450,000 for additional air traffic controllers to handle the event (never been done in the past since the FAA MAKES MONEY on the extra fuel tax that is collected). The EAA paid the blackmail money so the event could go on--but are challenging it in federal court. Obama underestimated the will of Wisconsinites to remain free--think of us as "Texans without Stetsons"!!

Real good I like the term. I have been up to Oshkosh a number of years ago with a friend of mine that flew. That is one big show. The sooner we are rid of that illegal wart in our white house the sooner we all will start feeling relief. I can't even stand to look at him on TV and I sure don't ever want to listen to that socialist on radio. I was just watching shark week on TV an d maybe God could send one of those big boys around to talk to him and maybe take him to lunch. I suppose that wouldn't work though the shark would probably become mean and have indigestion afterwords.

It makes me sick just to look at him, grinning like a possum, he just stole something else from us! Or crapped on us again! I have never heard a single truth from him...a perfect liberal, if his lips are moving.. he is lying! It's been years since I had the money to go to Oshkosh. Heck, I can't even afford Lakeland anymore! But that is another story!

Yes, it's another story. Started by a few people as a PRIVATE gathering of people who like homebuilt, antique, and warbird aircraft, it has degenerated into a dog and pony show that seems to be fueled by some peoples' quest for money and ego.

After another three and a half years of this clown we all will be lucky if we can afford to eat and stay warm in the winter. His energy war will make that really costly and with OIllegalcare now making the standard work week 28 hours it is hard to make the ends meet. I'm sure glad that we haven't infringed on his vacationing schedule though.

It has been a long time ago that I was there but I hadn't heard that it h ad gone down hill that much. When I was there we enjoyed the home built planes and the ultralight planes that didn't need a pilots license to fly. My friend that took me up there was also into rebuilding small single engine cubs and small aircraft like that and I couldn't get over the price of a screw of aircraft qualities price. I guess where there is a market the greedy do have a tendency to come also.
