Frosty you are ate up with ignorance if you believe what you think you know. No one was hurt except the protesters. One police puke committed cold blooded murder. Another died THE NEXT DAY from unrelated health problems. Any other injuries among the police is misinformation dished out by the socialists/communist Democrats. The doors were opened for the people and allowed in, the policemen that opened the doors even held them open for them. There were Government instigators breaking windows and causing trouble. Quit thinking or believing you know what happened because you don’t.

The wording of the question was convoluted, but the answer was crystal clear: No. Voters in Kansas on Tuesday, in dramatic numbers and by an overwhelming margin, rejected a ballot measure that would have allowed lawmakers to ban abortion in the state.

As Republican-controlled state legislatures around the country race to outlaw the procedure in the aftermath of the Supreme Court decision overturning Roe v. Wade, traditionally conservative Kansas, given the chance to directly respond at the ballot box, denied their own elected leaders' the chance to revoke a right that has broad support across swaths of independent polling.
The rejection of the measure highlighted the increasingly stark divide between the activities of Republican state lawmakers, often in legislatures gerrymandered to effectively guarantee GOP control, and the political and policy desires of American voters. In more immediate terms, the ballot measure's defeat -- on a day of extraordinary turnout -- also provides a clear indication that the desire to defend abortion rights could be a potent issue for Democrats in the coming midterm elections.

>>>The wording of the question was convoluted, but the answer was crystal clear: NOT. And that is the problem. All to often ballot questions are confusing about what they mean. So it wasn't crystal clear. it was confusing. FACT.

This CNN article has a few problems. States are not racing to ban abortion. Kansas was NOT racing to ban abortion. As it is now there’s not much they can’t do regarding abortion. Abortion needs regulated. You damn Democrats want to regulate everything accept abortion. Anyone that believes abortion doesn’t need regulated is a very sick person that I refer to as baby killers. They are Godless people.
Gerrymandering is a DEMOCRAT trick that the Republicans have finally started to use. You want gerrymandering look at the once great state of NEW YORK. The Democrats have it down to a fine art.

Abortion is an effect, it is a symptom of an underlying cause.
Do you have any idea of what caused abortion to become state sponsored industrialized genocide?

Abortion and genocide: What happens when ‘the government’ decides who has a right to life

Is Abortion a Genocide?
Abortion dismembers, starves to death and crushes the skulls of around 885 babies in the womb every working day in the UK. In 2020, in Great Britain, 224,675 babies were killed brutally in the wombi. The World Health Organisation estimates that between 2015 and 2019, on average, 73.3 million abortions occurred worldwide each yearii. There is an entire industry built on this destruction of human life which has a vested interest in killing unwanted pre-born babies by abortion.

Report Affirms Abortion Is Greatest Genocide in History
Abortion as genocide: Face the facts in the new year

Abortion: The Great American Genocide
“One of history’s most tragic lessons is that human beings have a remarkable capacity for abusing their fellow humans. When this abuse is severe enough, and moves beyond the mistreatment of a few individuals, we call it a crime against humanity. Crimes against humanity generally refer to any large-scale atrocity committed against a group of innocent human beings. They are not crimes of passion, they are crimes of precision.”

“Webster’s New World Encyclopedia, Prentice Hall General Reference, 1992, defines genocide as ‘The deliberate and systematic destruction of a national, racial, religious, political, cultural, ethnic, or other group defined by the exterminators as undesirable.’ That definition readily applies to abortion. The ‘national group’ is American ‘unwanted’ unborn children and they are now being destroyed at the rate of nearly 1 out of every 3 conceived. They are being terminated in an elaborate network of killing centers.”

Why Abortion is Genocide
Abortion: ‘Greatest Universal Genocide’

U.S. Abortion Clock: Real Time
In the US so far today, Aug. 3, approaching 1400.
Worldwide today, 60,000.
In the US so far this year, approaching 550,000.

He is not a Christian, that's for sure...even though he thinks he is. To condone murder - no matter what form it takes - is a sin. And to cherry pick things from the Bible to try to justify this behavior is bordering on more sin. And if Permafrost doesn't change his thinking on this, he will be accountable on his day of judgement from God. It's his choice....the same as it is the choice of gays who sin every day of their lives with their lifestyle. Choose God or choose sin....it's called free will and it's his right to exercise it. But the question is: what is it doing to his soul?

James 4:17 - "So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin."

Ephesians 5:11 - "Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them."

How great is that. I was in San Diego at a conference on San Diego Harbor when the tall ships entered the harbor sometime in the 1990's. What a sight. The conference was suspended as we watched the ships all come into the harbor under sail. Hope you have a plan to see them.
In the 1980's I built a sail boat and sailed out of Oceanside, California. Had an 18 foot SolCat also. Broke a shroud in Long Beach Harbor and got towed back to launch point. Same day a Hobie Cat broke a shroud also but their mast went through one of the hulls. I was luckier, no damage.
The flotilla I saw were ships from several nations. Will that be what you will see? Got to go aboard the Japanese Tall Ship in Hilo Harbor in 1964. It was Japan's training ship for their midshipmen. It was Maru something. Don't remember but I think Maru is part of the name of all Japanese ships.

One of my bumper stickers reads, 'Indians had bad immigration laws'. That is a good sticker as it can be taken by both right and left as truth.

Do not know if we will make it or not.. is a nice event, each year until the Covid made them skip a couple years. back a few years the ship from the movie "Pirates of the Caribbean" was going be in the mix, but it ran into something down south and nearly sank, was being repaired for so long it did not make it this far.. darn.. we have made several of these events, always fun..

Your boats must be terrific.. always wanted a sail boat, got a boat the a sail could be added. that never got done and is the closest I came to getting one of my own..
Hobie cat was one model I wanted for some time..

As for the origin of the ship and how many, I do not know yet.. they usually post all that info as early as may, but this year I only heard about it a few days ago..

WOW. I see there are times when you can talk like a normal person with some civility. If you could only stop supporting the Communist/Socialist Democrat Party. Your grand kids will love you for allowing them the freedoms you have had all your life.
