Big oil continues with massive profits

BP announced record profits from gas of $8.4 billion between April and June and this is triple the profits they made in the same time frame last year.
(IS THIS PRICE GOUGING)
These record profits put a different spin on price gouging on the consumers especially what they are doing with the profits.

Gas companies have announced it would boost shareholder payouts by at least 10%. The gas companies do not even try to hide there greed when chief executive of BP Bernard Looney described the gas industry as cash machine in the US.

Big oil continues to whine about climate change protections holding them back from production. Second quarter profits by Exxon Mobil were up 273% while Chevron was up 243% from the same period last year.

Big oil has profiteered in this, has exploited the marketplace. Since Jan 1st these companies have an earnings of over $200 billion.

But republicans will continue to protect these companies to profiteer to price gouge for political gain. They have filibustered any legislation passed in the house to protect these companies while they price gouge until the mid term election and just blame Biden.

Also the republicans in the senate continue to provide a number of tax subsidies for these profiteers including direct subsidies to corporations and other massive subsidies to the fossil fuel industry. Fossil fuel companies this year have received over $20 billion in direct subs as they continue with there price gouging.

Britain instituted a a policy of an extra 25% tax on price gouging. Biden tried in the US but republicans continue to block any kind of legislation to stop the price gouging.

So these right wing Trump supporters continue to block anything to bring down gas prices they will go to the polls and vote for candidates that offer no solutions and continue to blame Biden that is actually trying to bring down gas prices.

No Republican within the house or senate have offered any solution to bringing down gas prices or corporate greed. This will continue until the mid terms as these right wing candidates claim it’s all Biden’s fault.

Governments earn more in taxes per gallon of gas than oil companies do in profits. Why don't you complain about tax gouging? Of course, you know Democrats need the tax money for all their pet leftwing projects.

I have complained but gas taxes go directly to building and maintaining our roads and highways. When my state roads fall into disrepair then I have a complaint but as of today I can look outside my window and see the state and town investing in our roads and sidewalks.

Fossil fuels are making massive profits pay zero taxes and receive subsidies and what do we get $5 per gallon of gas. And republicans like you bitch about the cost of gas but your ideology of ignorance is amazing.
Where do you come up with the comparison to Fossil fuel companies making these massive profits avoid paying federal taxes and recieve government subsidies checks.

Taxes are a necessity to run state, local and federal government but why these companies make $200 billion pay no taxes a just put big money into there share holders pockets.

That’s what’s wrong with you Trump supporters your lost in a sea of lies.

Were you home schooled by Corky?
Every bit of green..solar, wind and water is heavily subsidized to the hilt since obammy stole that trillion..... and hundreds of billions of theft since the first ankle grabbing......... where is anything to show for it? We produce nothing green......

Now.... back to your liberal talking point whining about fossil fuels while being ignorant.
There are 7000 byproducts from fossil fuels...many you can't live without.... and not one green component, car, panel, battery..etc can be produced without the use of fossil fuels.

Get out of the swamp and remain silent to look and sound less ignorant.
