While the states are crafting new abortion laws and revising old ones, they need to keep in mind that it is hard to create a law with no punishment. Do we really want women who have abortions to rot away in jail......or are we content to just punish the doctors and others who assist in the performance of the abortion?

As a starter, we should punish the politicians and the Supreme Court justices that support the murder of babies and made murder the law of the land. Then those justices who have opposed murder and changed our countries sinful course should be elevated to a decree of Patriotism and Patriots who have saved our country from the wrath of God. Put President Trump's likeness on Mt. Rushmore as a symbol of life and not the cult of death.

That is very logical thinking and I definitely concur with your perfect logic.

Do you get it you indoctrinated imbecile? The Courts decisions have never been or should be a popularity contest. roe v Wade should have always been a states decision. There is no super majority. Roberts is at best a moderate. Go cry somewhere else. This never was a right to privacy issue.

The right to privacy issue was enjoyed by women for 50 years. In 1973 SCOTUS voted (7-2) in favor of Roe. In 2022 the Court voted (4-5). Roe was overturned. The total tally was in favor of Roe (11-7). I think it is a political popularity contest depending on the makeup of the court. I agree, decisions made by the courts should not be politically motivated. Clearly, that is not the case.

Putting aside your usual BS, should a woman be put in jail for having an abortion?

Unfortunately the right to murder their unborn child was accorded to women for 50 years. This added up to 65 million babies being butchered. Thank God the Supreme Court finally outlawed murder on the federal level. Now, the states must follow suit and save millions of murdered lives.

Got it. Based on the 14th amendment's "right to privacy" mandate, the Supreme Court in 1973 ruled (7-2) that unduly restrictive regulation on abortion is unconstitutional. Politically powerful right-wing legal groups have committed for decades to overturn Roe. The 2022 Supreme Court is now made up of a new conservative supermajority. The perfect time to overturn Roe (5-4) and decide the Right To Privacy mandate under the Constitution no longer applies to abortion. Do you get it? The Constitution is still pretty straight forward.
Got it. Based on the 14th amendment's "right... (show quote)

Federalizing Roe was corrected by the overturning. Abortion laws are now back at State level where they should have been since this "mistake" was made by SCOTUS in 1973.

THIS IS NOT ABOUT WOMEN'S RIGHTS.....It's about fixing something that was broken, and re-aligning the law according to our Constitution!!

Roe v. Wade did not legalize abortion in the U.S. and its repeal did not outlaw it. It is left to the states to decide IF and WHEN abortion is murder and HOW to punish the murderers. These decisions will likely be based on political beliefs of the lawmakers rather than on public opinion (60% favor) about abortion. We can look forward to continued legal challenges on all sides of these decisions.

Using a flawed constitution does not make it right.

Well actually it does make it right for the right.
