Unfortunately, most won't be able to afford the EVs to begin with. They would be smarter to upgrade our infrastructure and expand our rail system to be more accessible for people like in UK and Japan by doing this they would cut the use of cars and drop the emissions their so worried about

If you can afford an EV, the taxes should not be an issue.
They are bringing this on themselves with zero thought to consequences.
If I were in the market for a new vehicle, I would consider a hybrid.

That should be part of it for sure.

All they know is it's needed to move to their liberal world order, as they call it now.

Auntie, I'm and have found that it's cheaper to maintain my 2006 Ford than to get a new or used vehicle. I have a mechanic who knows my car inside and out and after 200,000 miles when some thing wears out, he replaces it. I set aside moneys monthly for car repair, it adds up quickly to pay for repairs. I change the oil every 3000 miles even though it looks as clean as when it was changed. I use fuel and oil treatment, it doesn't cost much but will extend the life of the engine.
I'm going to drive this thing until it simply dies of old age. Being 72 and having spent my whole life working with my body (Head also) I don't know who will go first.
Happy Independence Day to all on OPP. Mike

I finally was forced to sell my 2000 Audi. Even with saving/planning for repairs, it was becoming prohibitive.

SO you read about that
I predicted it, and found that others had also.

Brian Deese is a jackass, but at least he's more honest than Bidumb. They want the US to be like Europe-high prices for gasoline for a long time.

Unfortunately, it is apparent that our Big government has been run by the bureaucrats for a long time. The POTUS and Congress seem to have very little impact on our daily lives in comparison.
