....... from the jaws of victory
The Republican Party has been successful in many of their goals. The big question is, what are the consequences? I can not read the future, even one second to come, but there are a few big questions that should be asked. The first is what will the response be to the SCOTUS undoing of legal abortion? The second is what will be the reaction of the American people be to the Jan. Sixth Committee uncovering massive criminal activity of Trump and the Republican Party in the coup attempt, and sedition? The third problem the GOP is guilty of is minimizing Black votes through gerrymandering ?
I hope and believe that the American people will rebel against all these Republican actions, and elect a Democratic Congress and POTUS. Clarence Thomas has openly called for a nation wide, federal law outlawing abortion, a ban on gay marriage, an end to contraception, a ban on some sex acts, and more.
The Republicans are refusing to admit to the crimes Trump committed while in office. Just look at the election planks of the Republicans in Texas.
I was worried about an overwhelming election Republican victory because of inflation. Now, not so much. The GOP has pissed off women, Blacks, and those that realize what Trump is and what he has done. The Republicans just may have overplayed their hand. I think that the Republicans may have seized defeat from the jaws of victory.

JFlorio, Another brilliant comment from a Republican moron that has no answer to legitimate questions. I believe that the points that I brought up are going to be real problems for not your fathers Republican Party.

No sense conversing with a joke like you who thinks their opinions are facts. Is the Democrat party your fathers Democrat Party? I think you're a traitor to the Constitution that's why I don't take anything serious you say.

Interesting thoughts. I think the abortion ruling will further divide Americans. As far as Thomas, be glad when he's gone. I think among the dumbest of the bunch. As far as the abortion ruling, it's not over as many states still allow the procedure.

You conservatives are desperate to allow seditious criminals to go free, and destroy woman's rights and one person one vote. We'll just have to see if the American people restore freedom and equality in this country, or continue to go down the road to fascism.

Some of you people continually try and lump everyone together.
The American people voted in someone who is in such obvious mental decline. Its mind boggling. They won’t restore freedom and will continue to let both parties chip away at freedom. Its happening now

Garland's DOJ hit squad has been after Trump's head for 17+ months, they have been presenting evidence before
Grand Juries for 17+ months, and still they have squat on Trump, just as Nancy has on her face.
