Why are GOP lawmakers being asked if they are going to outlaw contraceptives next? In what universe could that happen?
This universe to be exact.

Until the 1965 Griswold vs. Connecticut case the use of contraceptives in the State of Connecticut was illegal. The Comstock Law prohibited the use OF anything that prevented conception. The Supreme Court overturned this archaic law by a 7–2 vote.

It wasn't until 7 years later when Eisenstadt vs. Baird (1972) established the right of unmarried people to possess contraceptives. This is not ancient history folks. A lot of us were alive before these rulings were made.

These cases were the precursors to Roe vs Wade which established the right to privacy and equal protection for women seeking abortion. With Roe vs Wade all but overturned, all these rights including same sex marriage could go down.

In a case Neil Gorsuch was involved in, Burwell vs. Hobby Lobby corporations were excused from providing coverage for contraceptives if they had a religious objection.

The American Taliban is coming for your rights. Don't say you didn't see it coming.

No she's not, just doesn't think that a corporation should be FORCED to pay for them...there is a difference, even if you can't see it.

If you want them, then you pay for them

If you can't get yourself some contraceptives, don't worry.

Because when you get pregnant you can still get yourself an abortion..... Goober.

Nobody is trying to outlaw abortion on the federal level. We will merely send the regulation of the procedure to the individual states.

The tenth simply says:
“The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”

An AG candidate, a Trump endorsed candidate wants to make birth control illegal in Michigan. You can spin it any way you like. Birth control is now in play again.

All Democrats have to offer is fear, hate, and lies. No wonder they are your party of choice.

Only because Democrats want to use fear since they cannot run on their record.

How can all of these white people be so wigged out about contraception and terminations.?????
What is the fear they all seem to have in common ?????
Becoming a Minority !?????
Oh Forsooth !!!!!!
I would like to remind my fearful Whiteys ,
As the world goes .
Whites encompass a whopping 11-14%
Of the world population.
So the fear you see now , is already a fact .
You are a world class minority.
Congratulations.
And to think that white Men have been running this country all along the way.
So , what happened??????
Who can we blame for this screw up ??????
I’d go with Biden.
If people can’t afford to live here now, why would they want a family to prove absolutely they can’t afford to live here.
A kid coming out of college $250,000
In debt will opt for no family.
And will probably rather move out of the country.
So our fat white bald guys don’t share your concerns.
Their greed is more important than your own personal pursuits. Than the path of your country , than your standing in the world ,
Than
Everything.
If you want babies , come up with subsidies that will go to parents and Not Middlemen.
You will be up to your asses in babies .
The fights about termination will cease .
There are plenty of women who want to have babies . No shortage there.
The problem is that money that has created our billionaires and now Trillionaires will never trickle down , as Reagan promised .
We were only robbed.
For 40plus years and still today .
And stopping abortions .
Will never stop women from getting abortions.
So , no upside there.

The Biden administration endorsed the establishment of a "Ministry of Propaganda" within the Federal government.
You can spin it any way you like. Free Speech is now in play. Maybe at greater risk than last week as it moves beneath our sight.
