Truth, Justice, and the American Way - No More

In 1938, Superman landed in America. Just as the nation was emerging from the Great Depression - and just before the crisis of World War II - the comic book character embodied the characteristics that had made America great.

Assuming low-key humility in the persona of Clark Kent, Superman possessed strength and power far beyond other men. He was “faster than a speeding bullet, more powerful than a locomotive, and he could jump tall buildings in a single bound!”

The writers who crafted this fictional character summed up his heroic attributes: Superman stood for “truth, justice, and the American way.” Superman resonated with the American public because those ideals were universally understood in the middle of the 20th Century.

Over the past 20 years, however, those ideals have been increasingly treated with skepticism to outraged hostility. An increasing number of Americans refuse to believe that America is capable of truth or justice, and it would be hard to find a consensus on what the “American way” even means today. Across the present political spectrum our elected leaders cannot or will not even annunciate what that should mean.

Accordingly, in recent months, the character of Superman has taken a dramatic turn to the left. Eager to embrace the “woke” sensibilities of our modern age, the writers who mold and shape the Superman character have decided to reveal that he is bi-sexual.

They timed their "revelation" to correspond with the LGBTQ annual “National Coming Out Day” each October.

To be clear to comic book lore, the 21st Century Superman is the son of Clark Kent and Lois Lane. Originally introduced as Superboy, this now-grown super hero is being reintroduced as non-heterosexual, i.e., homosexual. He now has a male boyfriend, and their romantic encounters will be highlighted as part of the narrative going forward.

With his ability to fly, protect the innocent from evildoers, and to hear the annunciated concerns of the entire world, Superman represented a secularized messiah. In 2013, Warner Brothers even commissioned
a nine-page briefing entitled “Jesus: The Original Superhero,” to convince Christians to attend “Man of Steel”- their latest movie in the series.

"Sent by his father to dwell among us," Superman’s life exemplified a
fictional shadow of Christ - until now.

In a clearly messianic passage, Psalm 2:12 advises, “Do homage to the Son, that He not become angry, and you perish in the way, for His wrath may soon be kindled.”

The son of Superman may still leap tall buildings and outrun speeding locomotives, but he now represents a false messiah no longer capable of saving anyone. And the American Way of this long admired classic comic book hero of American youth, - by celebrating deviancy and immorality, - has entered onto that "broad road" hurtling toward the wrath of God, against which Jesus warned in Matthew 7:13-14.

But soon the real Superman - the fully God- fully man who is Jesus Christ - the real Messiah, will come for His Bride, His *ekklesia, the "called out" ones, - all His believers. After that, **He will return to reign - dwelling among us and flooding the earth with Truth and Justice. And that is not merely a comic book sentiment, that is a promise of God."

*Ekklesia (or ecclesia) Greek word translated in the New Testament as "church." It derives from ek, meaning "out from and to" and kaleo, meaning "to call, referring to a group of people who have been "called out" from one place and to another. It is an assembly, a congregation.

**Jesus said that when He returns in glory, "the Son of Man… will sit on His glorious throne. And all the nations will be gathered before Him" for judgment. His throne is the throne of David which has always had but one location - in Jerusalem (Matthew 25:31; Isaiah 9:6-7, and Psalm 122).

That is just one way so called ‘progressivism’ is rotting us from within. Now they’ve made Superman mentally ill to cater to a very small percentage of the population.

Yes, and it is one more way to reinforce their message to the nation's children - the message children now receive in their TV programs and cartoons, in their movies, in their public schools, that they too may choose their own gender; that it's all good, that sexual perversion and racial social justice "wokeness" is the way to go.

The only hope for a word of truth to break through to our children is in Christian homes where the Bible is still honored and taught, where nightly prayers are held, - and for those children whose parents involve them in a Christ worshiping and Bible honoring church.

Just what is the diabolical plan that hinges on our children being exposed to this trash?
World domination?
Do they need boys that want to be girls for that?
Only thing I can think of is that the plan is part of Satan’s desire.

Satan wants to be God, and to undo all of God's plan for humanity.

There appear to be at least three things going on:

1) Man's rebellion against God, the human family is God's basic unit for building human civilization and social structure.
2) Satan's hatred of God and man, and his desire to be God. God is a God of order and discipline, so, Satan wants to create chaos.
3) Because man refuses to acknowledge God, God has given mankind over to a reprobate mind.

Romans 1:18 "The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness.
26 For this reason God gave them over to dishonorable passions. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones.
27 Likewise, the men abandoned natural relations with women and burned with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.

28 Furthermore, since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, He gave them up to a reprobate [depraved] mind, to do what ought not to be done.
29 They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed, and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, and malice. They are gossips, 30 slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant, and boastful. They invent new forms of evil; they disobey their parents. 31 They are senseless, faithless, heartless, merciless.

32Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things are worthy of death, they not only continue to do these things, but also approve of those who practice them.

Reprobation, in Christian theology, is a doctrine which teaches that a person can reject the gospel to a point where God in turn rejects them and curses their conscience. The English word reprobate is from the Latin root probare (English: prove, test), which gives the Latin participle reprobatus (reproved, condemned), the opposite of approbatus (commended, approved).
The doctrine is found in many passages of scripture, such as Romans 1:20-28, 2 Corinthians 13:5-6, Proverbs 1:23-33, John 12:37-41, and Hebrews 6:4-8.

Genesis 5:1-2: "This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, He made him in His own likeness.
Male and female He created them, and He blessed them. And in the day they were created, He called them "mankind."

Genesis 1:28: "And God blessed them, and God said unto them, [b]Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it... ."

Mark 10:6 [Jesus said] "However, from the beginning of creation, God made them male and female.
7 For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife,
8 and the two will become one flesh.’ So they are no longer two, but one flesh.
9 Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate."

Some clarity. I’ve had the same thoughts but you’ve put them in accord with each other.
Thanks
