The dance is ending.

Good morning bfa’s.
That’s
Born
From
Aboves.
I just made that up. Silly?!
Anyway, I think that most of us, the conservatives, like to trigger the liberals, with comments about soros and Hillary and their ilk, because it’s contrary to our belief in the truth.
And also, it’s so much fun to see them stomping their feet and gnashing their teeth.
Our government is supposed to be prayed for and followed because they only do what’s good for us. We see that this is not happening.
Therefore, if you have that type of government, and God is in charge, then what’s up?

I personally think it’s because God’s setting up the end times.
This dance with the devil is almost over. We as a country have to be diminished in order for the globalists to gain control. Until Biden’s rule, the USA has never taken a back seat before, with 2 exceptions. Carter and Obama.

The new norm is unsettling to Christians everywhere. At least it should be. We’re told to carry the gospel out and make disciples.
Closing our church doors was the first step. Allowing the government to be worshipped is the second step.

There’s a happy ending, however, we will be heading to God and the rest will be heading to “NOT God”.

I can’t wait!

Did this resonate with you?
Or did it sound wrong?

Good morning, Marty.

Jesus told us to occupy until He returns. (Luke 19:13)

The word occupy in this context is a military term. In Jesus' day the term was also used for an occupation, the exchanging of goods and services to see an increase. When Jesus gave us gifts and told us to "occupy", the responsibility is two-fold, just as the word “occupy” has a meaning that is two-fold. First, it is meant to protect that which has been committed unto him. Paul tells us that a man of God is to be looked upon as a protector of the mysteries of God, which is any Scriptural truth revealed by God to man, as He gradually unveiled His plan to man in succeeding generations.

The man of God is to protect the revelation that God has given, His word for all mankind. He is to do this in anyway possible. He does it by imparting this truth through preaching and by defending this truth from errors taught by false preachers. It is a defensive posture. It is “earnestly contending for” the things of God. He was telling us to remain occupied ~ to remain busy serving Him.

He expects us to be about His work, using the spiritual gifts He's given us, for His glory. It also means to hold possession, or control of territory, it is called occupation. If we depart early, or remain quiet, evil will swoop in now, just as it will following the rapture.

The days are growing more evil every year as the enemy prepares the way for the Antichrist to appear. Do not neglect putting on His armor each day. Keep it on. Wear all of it. Keep in mind that it is His armor. Use that armor, and your prayers of faith, to the best of your ability, and through the strength that God provides, to protect your family, your home, your ministry, your community and your country, as you seek to win those who are lost while there is still light.

For His current day "little flock," which is the ekklesia/congregation/His called-out-ones/the body of Christ - to effectively “occupy” until Jesus comes, requires us to see ourselves as His... as taking our sacred place in His remnant Church to continue God’s assignment until He determines it is complete.

Our weapons are: righteousness, love, patience, prayer and faith. We should stay on the offense knowing that we’re not fighting a battle of flesh and blood. Our battle is a spiritual one - fought with spiritual weapons.

We are not to simply endure. We are to be salt and light to the world; We are to teach and preach the gospel of Jesus Christ wherever we go and in every situation.

In Ephesians 6:13-17 we are told to arm ourselves: "Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.
And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God."

Well put. It’s not common in the world, to see light. Many people are content to be consumers of light, not giver/sharers. We as Christians are fed by the light and go forth into the world to give out what we have been given.
Most of the people of the world simply take it and keep it. It doesn’t do anything for anyone else. We who are not of the world, yet in the world, have developed a desire for the cycle of getting and giving. It’s a passion, an internal drive to serve others. One of my old pastors taught that God is always pouring into the top of our funnel. If we squeeze off the bottom of the funnel and try to keep it full, God will stop filling it. We have to let the blessings go out from us to get more in us. It’s true! I’ve seen it work.
You can’t out give God.
So while I’m occupying, I’ll be trying to out give God. I’ll fail of course, but I read the end of the book and I have that blessed hope.

I didn't mean to ignore the first half of your original message, Marty,

It just doesn't compute with me whether or not speaking the truth (in as far as possible, in love), "triggers" those answering to the label of "liberals," or any other label.

Self control is the most basic characteristic any mature human being should develop, and I cannot control when, where, or how, others are "triggered."

That is their responsibility.

I agree with your premise - a Biblical paraphrase, actually, that "from those to whom much is given, much is required." (Luke 12:45-48)

I didn’t think you ignored any part of it.
No big deal if you had though.
Another thing I think about more and more is the process of getting God’s message out. I think Ezekiel 33 defines the job of a Christian.
It’s referring directly to a prophet, Ezekiel, but he’s long gone and I haven’t ever seen a prophet around here.
We’re to simply state God’s plan of salvation and let the chips fall as they may.
I can’t drag anyone to the cross.
There’s many many paths to the cross, but only 1 to heaven. And that path leads to and through the cross. Hebrews 10:20.
I enjoy the discussion.
Thanks Marty

1st Corinthians 1:18-25:

18 "For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are dying, but to us who are saved it is the power of God.
19 For it is written, “I will destroy the wisdom (sophia) of the wise,
I will bring the discernment (synesis) of the discerning (synetos) to nothing“ (atheteo).

20 Where is the wise (sophos)? Where is the scribe (grammateus)? Where is the lawyer (suzetetes) of this world (houtos ho aion)? Hasn’t God made foolish (moraino) the wisdom of this world (ho kosmos sophia)?

21 For seeing that in the wisdom of God, the world through its wisdom didn’t know God, it was God’s good pleasure through the foolishness of the preaching(kerygma) to save those who believe.

22 For Jews ask for signs, Greeks seek after wisdom,

23 but we preach Christ crucified; a stumbling (skandalon) block to Jews, and foolishness to Greeks,

24 but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God.
25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men."
