Maintaining the Middle

I vote Democrat but I'm a card carrying Independently/Unaffiliated registered voter.

My frustration with the Democrat Party is that there is no advantage they can't screw up because we have so many wanting to be 20 or 40 yrs ahead of the concerns we have today it seems.

When we know that the middle is where the votes come from that decide the election why are we always pandering to the farthest of left causes it seems.

The only way we can win is on the backside of the worst human being in history. Why can't we be a party available to the concerns of the guy/gal in the middle?

It doesn’t matter which party you vote for. Both are working against us. Both are owned by corporations and lobbies.

Boy howdy! You are right there but one thing you might not be aware of, I hope I still have this article on my list of tabs.

Here it is. https://www.majorityleader.gov/content/ten-years-after-citizens-united-house-democrats-call-senate-take-house-passed-government

In the midst of the partisan divide the passage of this bill (if it ever happens) could set a lot of things straight. I know that conservative would rather die than have it passed because it opens up voting and makes it accessible to all people but when it does happen it changes the dynamics greatly.

Lets just say the Democrats win an election or two after this is passed. What happens then?

The Republicans have to counter with focusing on the people more than big business and that can't be all bad. It won't turn them into Democrats by any means but it might restore the fiscal responsibility that Republicans have always brought to the table and I could sure as hell live with that.

I doubt the bill will change much since the parties have always been run by money. But I sure hope it does because we sure could use some fiscal responsibility in government.

Yes all the parties run off money but it changes who can give it a great deal. It eliminates totally the foreign money in elections. How does that not change much? and it takes the ability to form dark pacs away and those corporations who don't want to be known will stop giving. That changes things a lot. I look at this bill with a lot of hope for humanity because it take steps to restore .....We the People....in the political equation and that can't be bad.
