That was a ride I took on the “Tail of the Dragon”, way fun. I believe it is over 300 turns in less than 13 miles. Google “The Tail of the Dragon”, good place for the stupid to get hurt, great place for a fun ride. 👍👍😁
This is result of stupid - a very expensive Ferrari in its top. Driver was fortunate, he walked away with a few bruises.

Just realized you were talking about “I love this post”. 🤣🤣 (I’m sometimes called Mr. Dumoss.)

I don’t think that Ferrari had a defect, so it must’ve been operator error. An expensive mistake that he won’t make again, at least I hope not. 👍 I’ve got a sport canyon carver that I damaged two tire and rims on a winding road curb, scenic riding has to be carefully navigated. But live and learn.

Only defect was driver with more $$ than brains.
What is your sport canyon carver? I’d like to have a Miata with the 3800 GM v6 upgrade, but my “I wonts and let’s gets” are a little too pricey. LOL!! Sure sounds like fun tho. 😁😁🤣🤣

I’ve got a Cadillac XLR base model. It’s a corvette chassis with the Cadillac body’s bells and whistles, I just love the look when the top is down. But just like some women it’s a high maintenance technical vehicle that needs a mechanic owner or else be prepared to pay the dealer some big bucks on repairs. The only thing I farm out is the alignment, and some shops don’t do a good job, and want you to leave it there for “service”, yea Ferris buellers day of with the car being taken like they stole it. Lol.

Caddy Vette, know exactly what you have. My son had an 04 Z06 and boy howdy was it a blast to drive. I grew up with “muscle cars”, owned a brand new 1968 Z/28 Camaro - it was a dog (with fleas) compared to the Z06.
Brother had a 67 427cid, 435 hp Vette with a 4 speed - it was fast, but it would never be able to compete with the Z06. I lay it at the feet of the fuel management system on the new cars (and trucks). Technology - ain’t it grand when it works.
Enjoy your ride and be careful. 👍👍😁😁

Which part of California? How's it compare with wherever else you've lived? I'm currently in the central valley of California.

Hey I’m almost in Oregon. But not quite, thankfully. I’d rather slip into Nevada.
