Memes are dishonest. I see another politician fueling racism to get votes. That shows a marked lack of character.

Money also helped OJ get off.

Occupy democrats is as trashy as any of its far right counterparts

Facts don’t lie.

They get the point across in a concise and succinct manner. Most people on here don’t take the time to read lengthy screeds.

And you ought to start addressing some facts, moldyoldy. Why do whites feel so reluctant to go into black neighborhoods? Those great white racists such as Walter Williams and Malcolm X asked the same question but it will never be addressed by the liberal arbiters of our social consciences.

I grew up in Mid-town Manhattan; East 46th St., between Second & Third Avenues, about halfway between Grand Central Station and the UN Building. There was a black man who was the custodian of an antique shop right at the building next to us and when I was about ten years old, a black man moved into our building. Along with passers through, that was our major exposure to black people.

We did know that Harlem was the big black neighborhood and that it began about 60 blocks north of us but we tried to avoid it or and even go through it on the bus. One time, a bunch of us did, on the way to Van Cortlandt Park but we didn’t even want to mention out loud that it was Harlem.

If we did walk in Harlem, we thrust our hands deep into our pockets, hunched over slightly with our eyes looking down to the ground about ten feet ahead and made no eye contact with anyone. Most white people did the same. Tell me progressives, what did that do for commerce in the area for black businesses or businesses that employed blacks?

In between our 46th Street and Harlem was the German area, called Yorkville. No one was afraid to walk there or the Italian areas or the Jewish, Irish, Hungarian or any other ethnic areas. Yet, we were afraid of walking in Harlem. Why?

I am sure that with your resourcefulness, you’ll be able to blame it all on white racism for there is no such thing as a guilty black nor an innocent white.

Nothing like deflecting the question. And whoever said that I hate what is said here? Hate is a pretty strong word. I just try to point out your never ending hypocrisy and the fact that you don't understand concepts but only understand what is said to "the letter of the law."

They answered your question. Criticism and recognizing the flaws is not "hating" the country. Maybe you hate the country since you can't seem to stand more than half the people who live here. Pointing out the wrongs and wanting to correct them seems pretty much like caring about your country to most people.

You and jelun buy into your own propaganda. Its quite interesting to watch.

Everyone in this country has been propagandized to some extent. It's a question of being able to recognize it, or not.

Actually it is. Unless you can prove otherwise, I'm sure we'll all be happy to change our minds.

You'll notice jelun, Fluffy, and working class stiff, I never suggested that you leave, I merely asked the question:, "If you...hate this country so much that all you do is bash it, why do you remain living here?" That is NOT asking you to leave.

Did you catch the pat about recognizing the flaws of your country and wanting to address them does not mean you hate the country? Quite the contrary. Are we supposed to sweep it all under the rug and just hope for the best? Never address it?
