Yes it is it’s snowing. That ever beautiful white purity of snow that brings such smiles and fond memories of when we were children, building a snowman and making snow angels and having snowball fights and skiing and sledding and snowmobiling witg so much that this world offers us how could we ever be so distraught over something?

Only enjoyed this sight a few times in my life, but you’re right. It makes everything seem so peaceful, how can we be distraught?

Beautiful pic, Lindajoy. And to think that in the blink of an eye , that pic will be lush and green again.

Snow is beautiful and tranquil, but, to be honest, after living in Alaska for roughly 35 years, I’ve seen more than enough snow in my lifetime. The best weather my wife and I ever experienced was in coastal Coos Bay, Oregon. Never much higher than 80 nor below 32. It rains a lot there, sure, but, as they say, “it’s sure easier to shovel”! Haha! We didn’t miss the snow at all. But now we’re in Ohio with our daughters and grandchildren, and life with family is as it should be!

This reminds me of the road driving up to my house in Tennessee

I love the snow… All seasons really..

I always say the rains are the tears of our angels crying for the sorrow of the world, and the snow is the purification of our immense Earth.. 🤗

Mother nature’s way of telling us she is purifying our world and the lush green you speak of is her smiling in the beauty of it.🤗💥

Living in Alaska for 35 years is a challenge to anyone I don’t care who you are. I think the closest I ever got to that was when I was living in Minnesota 40 to 45 below zero with 5 to 6 feet of snow in an evening.

Truth we actually got a flyer from the management staff of the apartment complex we lived in at the time telling us no snow skiing off the roofs. It was my first year there and thought How crazy, until I actually saw it take place. Lol lol loved every minute of watching them do so with the security guards trying to run them off lol lol.

Never lived in Oregon but been to it and through it a number of times to understand what you’re saying. Did live in Bellingham, Washington where it rained every day without fail or was dark and gloomy and their winter forget it, what a mess.

Ohio are but for our children and grandchildren. I keep telling my son to give me some grandchildren he keeps telling me not quite yet. Which I completely understand I’m impatient.. Besides he’s still too young, living life loving it as he should be.💕💜

Screw that!! I’m too old to start shoveling snow again - the rare snow we get in Alabama today is gone by tomorrow afternoon and that works for me. 🤣🤣🤣
Just kidding, partly - the pic is beautiful, but I hate the cold weather. You enjoy it my friend!!👍👍
