US Gas Prices Rise to New 7-Year-High With No Drop in Sight

President Joe Biden has done very poorly on his academic performance. There are a number of possibilities how this happens.
Perhaps due to his old age, and mental stability. But his age is not really that old, if he is healthy.
Or is he deliberately doing it to destroy this country and the America people, thru the advice of his handlers, in order to transform this country to a Marxist government? His handlers are Bernie Sanders, "AOC's dumb mouth tax the rich", or could it be Obama, and John Kerry?

Prices and scarcities of gas, oil, and other energy supplies have been rapidly going up.
He cut off all the oil production in the US.
He reversed all the policies of president Trump concerning oil/gas production and economy.
He closed the XL Pipeline while cutting off jobs of 11,000.
He declared importation of oil from the OPEC countries like the ME.
While Europe has a continued flow of oil from Russia thru a pipeline going to Europe.
He allowed China to manufacture all spare parts produced for all industries using oil/gas/electric essentials to manufacture the products.

Currently in the West Coast where I live, oil prices regular cost $3.49/gal. while premium cost $3.79/gal. That was last month yet. Prices must have gone up further by now. This is more than 33.5% increase from prior year in 2020.

The worst part that could happen is if US rely on foreign countries for oil supplies/productions, we are putting the country to a very dangerous situation if war breaks up. We could not fight to defend our country, without oil or energy sources.
Joe Biden is putting our country to the brink of disaster .

Yet the LIBS could never understand this. They continue attacking and lying about president Trump who was one of the best presidents we ever had. I want him to come back. He loves this country and will sacrifice the rest of his life saving it.

US Gas Prices Rise to New 7-Year-High With No Drop in Sight
BY ZACHARY STIEBER October 11, 2021 Updated: October 11, 2021.

U.S. gas prices rose on Columbus Day to $3.27 a gallon, a new 7-year-high.

The cost of a gallon keeps rising, with some experts saying no drop is in sight.

The primary drive is the climbing price of crude oil, analysts say.

That accounts for between 50 percent and 60 percent of the price of gas for drivers, according to the American Automobile Association (AAA) spokesman Andrew Gross.

“And last week’s decision by OPEC and its oil-producing allies to not increase production further only exacerbated the upward momentum for crude oil prices,” Gross said in a statement.

AAA pegged the national average for a gallon at $3.18 on Sept. 30, $3.20 on Oct. 4, and $3.21 on Oct. 7.

Washington saw the biggest jump over the past week at 17 cents. Kentucky, Indiana, Florida, Michigan, Alabama, Tennessee, South Carolina, Illinois, and Delaware prices per gallon also increased by 10 cents or more.

Data compiled by GasBuddy, which receives price reports from over 150,000 stations across the country, had the average price per gallon at $3.25 on Monday. Diesel’s average rose about 10 cents per gallon in the last week and was at $3.45.

Patrick De Haan, head of petroleum analysis for the price tracker, also pegged OPEC’s decision as stoking the latest rise.

OPEC opted last week to stick to its pact for a gradual increase in oil output.

“The OPEC decision caused an immediate reaction in oil prices, and amidst what is turning into a global energy crunch, motorists are now spending over $400 million more on gasoline every single day than they were just a year ago,” De Haan said in a statement.

Prices shot up earlier this year when Colonial Pipeline took offline the nation’s largest pipeline in response to a hack and have remained above $3 for most of the time since.

Other contributing factors include cuts to production early in the pandemic and a dearth of fuel truck drivers as other jobs prove more attractive, according to experts. The situation was exacerbated by oil producing countries, largely in the Middle East, choosing not to ramp up production.

Europeans and Asians have seen energy shortages and blackouts over the summer and Americans could see the same this winter, one top energy executive recently warned.

West Texas International, a major type of crude oil, increased by $1.05 late Friday to end the trading session at $79.35.

The Biden administration hoped to pressure OPEC into boosting production but has thus far failed in its campaign.

Daniel Yergin, a historian who studies oil, said Monday on Bloomberg that the United States will likely keep trying to persuade the countries.

“Joe Biden knows that high gasoline prices are not good for incumbents,” said Yergin, vice chairman of IHS Markit. “We’ll certainly be hearing more from the administration.”

Who else knows what’s bad for incumbents?
I thought youz were all about free markets ? Controlling gas prices is not a free market. Controlling who sells oil is not a free market.

You don't understand what you are talking about. Problem with LIB handout.

Biden can't dictate or control prices. The supply and demand determines the ups and downs of prices. Biden's dumb economic policies determine the prices of what people pay.

That hasn't been the norm for years. That fantasyland left the building in 1980 .
supply and demand means nothing today.
The petro companys make money if the supply goes up.
and they also make money if the demand goes down. This is where too big to fail creates scenarios that never lose.
It was true at one time. Today, corporations control everything. This so they never lose.
If they should inadvertantly try to lose, Their Socialist Overseers will give them whatever they need to not fail.
this is unregulated capitalism.
If you didnt understand, you shouldve said so.

Non-sense. That supply and demand will never go away. Unless the policies of the incumbents are changed, and knowing how the economy functions.

But right now, the dumbness, the ignorance of the incumbent how economy behaves,

Or for a designed system of changing the government to control under Marxism. A glaring display of Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders.

Here is your oil supply program, oil tankers are now on autopilot circling the globe
Because there’s no where to drop it off for distilling. So the0 tankers go from port to port only picking up supplies. That should be enough to drop the price of oil significantly, but does it ?
No !
So, please tell me how these oil prices work in your world.
This works both ways. If there’s a low demand. The tankers won’t offload it. That would create a price drop. If there’s too much oil, they won’t offload then, either because this would drop the price.
For only $20.00/ barrel they ship it port to port. For $100.00/barrel there’s plenty of room. Get it offloaded.

Is that how “supply and demand” is supposed to work ??
They are running on their own rules, not yours, not this country’s. Their own.
Supply and demand ….this!

Marxism ???
This has nothing to do with Marxism.
You know , here is a stunning fact ,
Bernie Sanders if rarely wrong when he talks about the treatment of women, Veterans-and the American people in general.
Think about that.
Rarely Wrong.

The convoluted mind of a LIBERAL brain. Lies, fabricated lies, and twisted facts. You'll never get it right with that kind of mental disorder. This is nothing new cause the LEFTISTS have similar contents of their brain. That is why they belong to the LEFT.

No more wasting of my time, please.
