I would like to offer this for all schools. Please pass on to parents going to school board meetings

I offered this as a response to another topic, but I think it deserves its own topic.

I would like to offer this for all schools. Especially for parents going to school board meetings objecting to Critical Race Theory, BLM indoctrination, Protesting questionable teachers, etc.

All students would be allowed to record all classroom and lecture hall activities. There are very good reasons for this that no right thinking person could disagree with.

1. Sometimes a student doesn't understand everything being taught in class on that date and would need this recording to go to another reasonable adult to help them understand it. Like a parent or care giver or even a fellow student after class.

2. Sometimes they can't remember everything being taught and could use that recording to help them in their homework and future studies.

3. Sometimes the parent might want to look at what is being taught to their child. It is their inalienable right to know this information and the right to protect their children from everything from potential predators and pedophiles to those that are attempting to indoctrinate their children in ideological or religious propaganda against their wishes.

4. It would protect the teacher against false accusations about any of their daily activities in the classroom. If our police need body cams to protect them from false accusations or illegal or unethical actions when in contact with the general populations and potential felons, then out teachers and children deserve no less.

Can't quite go alone with all student having their phones out during class. Probably too distracting and a security risk to students. However having every class recorded and available online for absent students and parents to view is a good idea. When my kid was sick and missing a lot of school I had a hell of a time getting teachers to cooperate in keeping me up to date on classes and assignments that I could take home and go over with him to keep him from falling behind.

I can pretty much guarantee that teachers will never go along with it though.

Of course they won't they could be held accountable well I don't nassasary think a phone but body cams & live screening be good. Schools are notorious for lying we had one that a girl was raped in a bathroom she went to Principal an they covered it up they never even called police an they sent the guy home ( probably to change clothes & clean up ) I don't know if was a ball player or what when police found out they couldn't believe the arrogance of the administration . It went on for long time and finally started charging the principal but more went on an don't know what ended up if anything .
We need more open acountbilty an no lawyers on school boards to protect them from us the arrogance our tax money used against us .

I could tell you a few horror stories of what happens when parents have taken on the educators but it would take too long. Suffice to say their kids paid the price for the parents involvement in either false accusations or abuse by teachers.

Some quick thoughts:

Strycker:

Yes, I thought of them all using their phones. I was thinking of them all propped up and facing the teacher and recording everything. I also thought that there could be a camera recording the whole room and accessible via download to home computers. But would need two cameras to get the whole room or the teachers and students would know where the blind spots were.

I agree with you that the teachers would never go along with it. And the unions would call for nation wide strikes over the issue. And that makes you really wonder, and want cameras even more.

Also with multiple cameras on all students would keep the teachers from rebelling against any student for snitching. And maybe keep the teachers honest in the first place.

Army:

I agree that we should never allow lawyers on school boards.

Can't imagine what you saw within the school system and I don't want to imagine it. But it shouldn't be. Cameras would help reasonable discipline within the kids themselves, especially knowing that their parents would be able to see irrefutable evidence of their messing around or bullying or not paying attention. But It also keeps the teachers from molesting and more on their students, keeping them teaching parent approved study courses, not bullying students, and not favoring students.

We do know that every teachers union in America would fight it, threaten strikes, strike, and finally legal actions to stop it. So it must be a good idea and deserves some real analysis by the parents. It is their kids being rightfully taught or abused and misused and brainwashed.

Some quick thoughts: br br Strycker: br br Yes,... (show quote)

Yes I agree the only reason they want teachers now is the indoctrination of children ( kids) and needs be done in person . The whole system is fake . The perks they get all holidays off , personal days , vacation days , sick days , summer vacations , I don't thing we should pay there pensions ether as well has big part property taxes . They cry & wine over a couple days diffence every year going back after summer vacation . There Union is nothing but a social group to them . They think cause there teachers they know more an can do any man's job or skill . Most have only sacked groceries before being a teacher . They can get there checks all at once ( whole year ) half or get payed every two weeks. No working man can get the perks they get there way over paid under worked as well . There were 52 admistraters my area making over 80,000 year over 20 years ago super intendents around 100,000- 150,000 now I think around 200,000 an up teachers started around 25,000 maybe little more depending on degree an got a 2,000 a year raise . If course they can't be fired so they shift them around if even do that after they commit ungodly problems . I better shut up .

Agreed, teachers nor the Department of Education whatever allows such ability to track what they are and are not teaching or representing in classes.

While I agree it would act as a nice deterrent for all the reasons cited I would be amazed if the school board produced any such agreement. I am still firmly of the believe the Department of Education needs to go. Let states handle the issues of education .. they are the best and knowing the geographical location of their state along with the needs of education enhancement. Government simply does not belong in our school board whatever defining moment of a school board is. It’s time for change there’s no doubt about that!

Thanks. Sometimes I get lucky.

Just thought of another point. Nanny cams are legal. And they only feed and diaper. They aren't molding their young minds. The teachers need to be watched. Many businesses have cameras to prevent theft. What can be worse then stealing a young free, inquisitive mind while piling in indoctrination totally against the wishes of the parents.

When I was on a school board the county attorney was available for the board. I did learn that when I called once to ask a question the county called the superintendent to verify I was a board member. I was not happy as it was a question about the superintendent.
