Happy Columbus Day. A great Italian Explorer.
Christopher Columbus was a great explorer, adventurer, and navigator for whom most of us in the know are forever grateful for this fantastic Italian man. Let us celebrate his adventures into the New World as he opened the West up to become the dominant force in the World and perpetuated on mankind the greatest economic force that would come down the superhighway. Every city in the US should have a Columbus Square in his honor and any peckerhead trying to disfigure his statute would be considered a domestic terrorist by Merrick Garland and be forced to study "Why White people have been the greatest force for goodness, inventions, religion and peace in our world."

Larry, you seem the pinnacle of misinformation some days.. but at least Columbus had the brains to follow a real leader...
Good old great grandpa Leif may have murdered a few and been exiled from not one but two countries , but underneath he was a fine father and cared for so many of his near unending offspring..
Such a great Norse man of the north. the Italian/Spanish got maps from those fine Scandinavians who had planted grapes in the land of red men..

Perm, you are as usual, sailing around on dry land, trying to find a place to dock your boat when none exists just as there is no existence of brain matter to be found in your cranial vault. Keep sailing.

Who discovered America?
For most of us, the answer to that question is straightforward: Christopher Columbus.
That's what we were taught in school and that is why we celebrate Columbus Day.
Yet it is far from clear-cut.
Sixth Century — Irish Monks
10th Century — The Vikings, Canada.
