Just had to share Pikes National Forest I visited yesterday.. Breathtaking and it’s vibrance of colors and different hues of gold that seem to illuminate the entire forestry.

We are blessed with so many mini miracles such as this that show us there is more.

I also just finished posting sister in spirit gifts to me. I really wanted to get them hung up so they would display better I haven’t been able to master that yet probably more my fear of falling off a ladder.~~

I'm from TN and if this was a "usual" time in America, I would be at a cabin in the Smokey's with some of my family. I miss the beauty there.

Ohhhh my gosh, the Smokey Mountains are like looking at patchwork quilts filled with such fantastic shades!!

My mother used to live in Franklin, North Carolina, when I would visit her specifically in the fall I could barely stay on the road looking at everything.lolol Truth, I really had to concentrate.. They need more lookout points lol lol..

I understand what you mean about “if this was the usual time in America,” hopefully, you will be able to return to your cabin next year…

As far as I am concerned where ever there are good, honest and friendly people, and happy friendly dogs is where I want to be

Thank you for the picture. Like that you travel a dirt road. A road meant for slow travel, not an 80+MPH highway. I see a sprite in the rock jutting above the scene. On my walking stick I have a sprite carved and if I face him forward he watches that I follow an easy path. When I want company I turn the staff and he faces me and I can talk to him about the trails we hike together. As Roy Rogers would say, “Happy Trails to You.”

Absolutely beautiful! You're a blessed person. Keep your feet on the ground a while longer and keep reaching for the stars. I've been to the Smokies twice but not to CO. It's on my bucket list. Maybe someday.

I don’t disagree with you one bit.
Although my home is still considered in a “residential area, on the outskirts of a city, I have learned the farther I get away from big city environment the more honest and friendly people I am blessed with in my life. As for dogs well there just is no dog I don’t love.❤️✨

You have an observant eye..I did not see the sprite. I like the idea that you have one on your staff so you are never without company.

I prefer dirt trail roads especially right now since my walking is somewhat limited and I have to be aware of being on an even surface given a recent surgery. There are pull off points all along the trail where you can park, and then walk. What is most interesting is that once you start it you have to continue on it because it is a one-way road with an occasional turnaround point of joining another road that will take you the opposite way. Hiking is always been a way to relieve stress for me and who could ever complain about being out in the beauty of mother nature . Sometimes we just need to get our soul back in perspective.

And yes as Roy Rogers would say “happy trails to you as well.”

That’s one of the blessings of living in Colorado there literally is some sort of absolutely stunning scenery with every turn you make.

Getting my feet on the ground the necessity at this point, LOLLOL. As for reaching for the stars, always. I

I don’t have a bucket list per se but if there’s something I want to do I just try to work it into my plans to achieve whenever possible. I don’t want to save it all up until retirement and then not be able to do it. Which is hint hint, if you ever make your way to Colorado let me know in advance I’d love to meet you…🤗✨
