Someone else – bench warmer Josh Earnest – will soon have to start referring White House reporters’ questions to the Department of Health and Human Services, pout and convey how frustrated President Obama is with whatever latest presidential scandal he discovered by watching the news.

But for the past three-plus years, those enviable tasks have fallen to outgoing White House Press Secretary Jay Carney. Here, courtesy of The Washington Free Beacon, is a mash-up of Jay Carney’s least-greatest hits.

It’s an uncomfortable job, but hey – it pays close to $200,000 a year.

Sound like a lot? Maybe. Think of it as a taxpayer bargain, though: at least the government doesn’t pay Obama’s Press Secretaries on a per-lie basis.

As long as I can remember, presidential press secretaries have always been "spin doctors". It's what they are paid to do. You were expecting something different???

The criticisms they attract??? Goes with the territory. They are paid big bucks to be political velcro.

An easy buck. 50% of what the president makes and you just need to answer questions for a few minutes? The icing is thick with the real perk as a corporate communications/public relations CEO. If you don't want to work for somebody, simply start a PR/communications consulting firm. With the name recognition and hype, it is easy money.
