Infrastructure is now any pork project that supports one of their pet plans and props up blue states. Bipartisanship is Republicans bowing down to and supporting all of their goals to radically change America into a Marxist philosophy driven nation.

Thats the problem. The republicans are spineless whimps and have been for years now!!! The whole lot of criminal hill needs to be thrown out!! Wr need a true third party to vote in instead of the constant retreads kept in by special interest groups along with mandatory term limits... Like 6 years and your done, not allowed to run for another seat or become a lobbyist, which they should do away with period!

I could not agree more! I have long said when Republicans win they act like losers and when Demonrats lose they act like winners.
Enjoy your day!!๐Ÿ˜Ž

If red states had a better return on investments, they wouldnโ€™t be whining all the time.
โ€œBipartisanship โ€ now thereโ€™s confusing word. Where was the Bipartisanship for the last 12 years ?
If it means , the answer to all democratic questions is NO then now we know.
Since Obama took office there has been no partisanship.
What has McConnell accomplished aside from robbing you blind ?
Has he passed anything besides tax breaks for the rich ?

Well said, lindajoy! Term limits is the solution to most of the problems on "criminal hill." (Love that term, btw!) The best thing that would happen is that we would get a higher quality of candidates because serving in Congress would no longer be a lucrative, life-long career and would go back to being that for which it was intended--citizens who are interested in serving the public instead of serving themselves. Unfortunately, we know that won't happen because they have protected themselves from any such interference by the people.

Their definition of "bipartisanship" is synonymous with their version of "unity," no?

A convention of states could give the people a chance to amend the constitution . It's the only way term limits would ever be voted in. Right now several states are trying to do this. I think 37 states are needed and so far about 25 states are signed on. But I think you need to get all the signatures in a 30 or 90 day period. I'll look into it.

Yes, I have heard that a number of states have signed on for a convention, and I totally agree that a Constitutional amendment is the only way term limits will happen. I believe they've been working on this for a long time. Maybe someday it will finally happen, but probably not in my lifetime.
