This is not the way to win the war. I received ten pleas for donations today. Everyday it’s between five and ten. This is a sickening spectacle. Of course, we cannot donate to everything that’s requested and it begins to get foggy about which is deserving and will do the most good. I want to make a difference but donating to every Tom Dick and Harry is not the way to do it. I posted this because I’m certain I’m not the only one out here being bombarded this way. Just sayin’.

You are not alone. I've had to block dozens and dozens of numbers over the last 5 years and reported the same numbers as spam.

Carol, you can rest assured that you are not the only one who feels that way.
Apparently, phone solicitors are non-partisan/bi-partisan.
If it comes by email, don't open it. Direct it to Spam.
If it comes by mail, don't open it. Put in the circular file.
If it comes by phone, just hang up as soon as you realize it is a phone solicitor. Don't even say good by. Or you could just set the phone down and go about your business and come by five minutes later and hang it up. You wasted their time talking to no one, and kept them from disturbing anyone else far a few minutes. Your good deed of the day. And the most fun is those that start out saying that this is a recorded line. Tell the that they have no authority to record your voice, You have their phone number and are reporting them to the FBI, Then hang up. You can only record phone conversations with the consent of both parties. Anything else is against the law.
Have a nice day

Mine are mostly mail. My mailbox is full everyday. I loved what Trump did for all Americans but I hate Biden’s lies and divisions. Donations are not the way to go.
Everyone is in the game.

Thank you. At first I considered some but it’s useless.

Then, neither would recurring donations be to your liking

I too am plagued by donation requests but my rule is "first show me results".

Do Not Call - (888) 382-1222, it has to be updated every 5 years. If they keep calling, try and get the company's name and phone number, then report it. I usually say I'm really busy, let me get your name and number and I'll call back as soon as I can. As soon as they give me a name, I interrupt and say, and your company's name and phone number? Some give me their info and some just hang up. Last month I got a lot of calls saying I was under investigation for credit card fraud, the FBI, and the SSA. Mine was easy to bust, they all had an Indian accent, when I said I'm having trouble understanding you, may I speak to someone who speaks English better and he/she also had an Indian accent, and I hung up. Then I looked up the Do Not Call # above, I was already in their system and I just had to press 1 to renew or update it. Hope it helps.
