I love smoked oysters but...
...they all seem to be a product of China!
I need help!
Does anyone know of smoked oysters not produced in China?!

Mississippi oysters are not from China but you’d have to smoke them yourself. We have great oysters in the south.

A lot come from Thailand. 90% of everything we buy comes from China. I have a pair of Levis made in Lesotho.

Thanks...I lived in Jacksonville for 12 years. We went to Cedar Key and bought bushels of oysters...
What American company makes smoked, canned oysters?

I love the Thais! While working at the Salvation Army I noticed clothes made in Thailand and Vietnam were very well made compared with similarly priced clothes made in Central and South America

I don't think there are any. Remember that a high percentage of pork is also processed in China.
I guess it's mountain oysters for you.

DESCRIPTION
Pacific Oysters are grown on our farms in Willapa Bay located on the coast of Washington State. They are grown using the long-line method to promote the highest quality oyster, and ensure they are always free of sand and grit. They are harvested fresh then brought to our Ekone cannery in Bay Center, WA, where the oysters are steamed and opened, then brined in small batches. The brined oysters are then placed meticulously on stainless steel racks and smoked using maple chips. A true classic that is fresh, all natural and allows the flavor of the oysters to shine!
Each 3 ounce can is made with fresh ingredients and no preservatives. They are also shelf stable for up to four years!

America's Most Legendary Fish Market
Pike Place Fish Market was founded in 1930 and has since become an enduring Seattle institution. It remained little-known outside of the Seattle area until 1986, however, when longtime owner John Yokoyama and his crew committed to only sourcing the very best-quality seafood, providing excellent customer service, and putting on a show for their customers. The new commitment to excellence accelerated the company’s growth and catapulted the market onto the world stage.
