Kushner extorted several hundred million out of Qatar as a "loan", they refused the investment/loan because the property involved was so horribly over leveraged, they refused it again, and after the US supporting a blockade with the Saudi's that was costing them five billion a week, the few hundred million loan seemed pretty cheap relatively speaking.

Now what I want to see is the contracted terms of the loan, and whether it ever gets paid back or the payments even made. It would be hard to push Kushner while trump was president. Trump got countless favors and tangible things from governments, like Xi building a 500 million road to one of trumps theme park resorts in China, as trump lifted sanctions on ZTE communications. The conflicts of interest are countless. How many memberships did he sell to foreign dignitaries for $200k a pop for their whole entourages. Foreign dignitaries should never have been exposed to staying in trump resorts, it's a grift waiting to happen. Oh, and how about the saudis booking a whole floor of a trump hotel they were not using long term that was losing money? Nice little booking there.

You had the equivalent of Bolsheviks oligarchs raking it in for the full time they were in office. If you didn't mind getting screwed by Trump why would you mind getting screwed by anyone else?

Logic dictates that since Trump gave his salary away to various causes over the years and never kept a single paycheck for himself, that he was more interested in using his own funds to help Americans and their economy, rather than trying to make money on his presidency.

One of the main problems Dems had with Trump was that he didn't owe anyone anything when he chose to run for President. He made no promises to any foreign dignitaries that he would do things for them if they donated to his campaign, like all the other candidates did.

Trump gave his sons his businesses to run while he was President, rather than divesting his assets.
