What does South Africa have to do with us?

I'll tell you what moldyooldy; you're striking me as just another liberal with a chip on your shoulder for this country. If we're so bad, why do so many people want to come here, including black people from Nigeria, Liberia, Congo, Somalia, etc?

I have a suggestion, moldyoldy; select a country your ancestors came from, in western Africa (from your picture, I believe you're black.) Go back there or to some other African country where they still practice cannibalism, and there are several. Idi Amin did and Uganda isn't too far from western Africa. Make some friends there. It could give a whole new meaning to having you over for dinner.

And also, ask some white Americans why they're so fearful of walking down streets in black neighborhoods.

Jesse Owens embarrassed Hitler by winning four gold Olympic medals. He was not among those invited to the White House. He found that he would be offered opportunities to speak but never offered a job. He was forced to take the freight elevator instead of the passenger elevator. Some of this has changed outwardly but the attitudes that caused this still remain. Germany has outlawed its Jewish hatred. The US can not seem to abandon its racism.

Sometimes you get the elevator and sometimes the shaft. Sometimes the birds sing for you and other times they $hit on you!! That's life. Get over it and move in.

Despite Hitler's snub, Owens left a global legacy
As with the so-called Hitler snub, the narrative of the 1936 Olympics has been softened and simplified over the years. Despite the accomplishments of Owens and his teammates, Germany could still claim athletic superiority by winning the most medals.
More crucially, the Games succeeded as a form of propaganda, spotlighting the Nazi Party as welcoming and orderly even as it was on the precipice of launching another war and exterminating millions of Jews.
On a personal level, the spotlight of the Olympics was an outlier in the career of Owens, who returned to the cold reality of being a Black man in Great Depression-era America. His commercial opportunities failing to materialize, he was forced to race against horses and take on other demeaning jobs for years, until finally catching a break as a government ambassador in the 1950s.

The demorat party could never win a Women's Olympics unless they would let all the men enter as women and cheat as usual like they cheated in this last election.

With the attitude of our government administrations who promote hate, division, racism, socialism/communism, it will not ever just go away!! They need to foster it to have us do their dirty deeds and control us along with misleading us down the plank to our demise!! Country and citizen...

Play if you want to, I will not..I stand for our country, period!!!

Racism will be with us always. White folks should just get used to being discriminated against. I think all other races should pay white folk for reparations.

People of color should be thanking the USA and especially Christians for making slavery and racism illegal. Instead they want to paint America as racist and give Americans a back hand.

There's even more bad mews about those worthless degrees: the students often have huge loans to pay off after graduating and a compounded inability to get a job . Hey, but they've been taught their lack of employability must be due to discrimination. Who in their right mind would ever hire a woman with a degree in "Gender Studies" or "Women's Studies?"

I have to agree with you. You made me laugh! Is that where we’re headed, degrees in such studies? Certainly, appears that way.

It is practiced in several countries. Mostly for religious purposes. Reminds me of the Catholic rituals, body of Christ, blood of Christ practice. There was also the Donner party.

Because the courts have been twisted. Who do we trust ?

Kemmer, don't bother reading this or responding. I already know what you think.

Like the song goes "Lookin' for love in all the wrong places."

I am fortunate and blessed to have attended a Bible church for many years with an awesome pastor who is so careful to teach from the Greek and Hebrew manuscripts.
In Gal:3:28, Paul states Paul states: "There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus "
Jesus states in John, 13:34-35 “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. 35“By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”
In I John 4:7 "Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God, and knows God; He that loveth not, knoweth not God. Beloved, let us ove one another."

I can find in no place that God created any color as a separate race. Yes, we have variances in color, traditions, nationalities, etc, but we are all descendants of Adam, born with a sin nature. Prior to the coming of Christ, human kind was divided into two separate groups, Jews and Gentiles. As Christians, we are a new creation, being neither Greek nor Jew, a set-apart group in Christ, as Paul states in Eph: 2:3-27 "we too all previously lived in the lusts of our flesh, indulging the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the rest. 4 But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were dead in our wrongdoings, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6 and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7 so that in the ages to come He might show the boundless riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith; and this is not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them. 11 Therefore remember that previously you, the Gentiles in the flesh, who are called “Uncircumcision” by the so-called “Circumcision” which is performed in the flesh by human hands— 12 remember that you were at that time separate from Christ, excluded from the people of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of the promise, having no hope and without God in the world. 13 But now in Christ Jesus you who previously were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ. 14 For He Himself is our peace, who made both groups into one and broke down the barrier of the dividing wall, 15 by abolishing in His flesh the hostility, which is the Law composed of commandments expressed in ordinances, so that in Himself He might make the two one new person, in this way establishing peace; 16 and that He might reconcile them both in one body to God through the cross, by it having put to death the hostility. 17 And He came and preached peace to you who were far away, and peace to those who were near; 18 for through Him we both have our access in one Spirit to the Father. 19 So then you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but you are fellow citizens with the saints, and are of God’s household, 20 having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus Himself being the cornerstone, 21 in whom the whole building, being fitted together, is growing into a holy temple in the Lord, 22 in whom you also are being built together into a dwelling of God in the Spirit."

As such., ALL Christians should love one another. That is AGAPE love as expressed in I Cor 13: 1-8 "If I speak in the tongues[a] of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. 3 If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. 4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 8 Love never fails."

Years ago I heard a preacher teaching on God's love toward us and how we should reflect that love toward other Christians. It is never based on emotions; love is an active verb. A short summation of that love is an absolute commitment to God's righteousness in every aspect of that relationship. The working out of that love is expressed in different ways, such as the intimacy and care between spouses, the loving provisional and guardian care over one's children, the loving and service functions to our friends and community and the very obvious love and sacrificial affection between Christians to one another. Agape love is never based on the physical, mental or monetary attractiveness of the person receiving the love, but is based on the spiritual character of the person giving that love.
I believe that only way the hate issues will never be resolved here in America except through a spiritual awakening, a rebirth of sorts that can only come about by a repentance of the Christians for our failure to live up to what we KNOW we should or could have been doing and then the repentance of this nation as a whole. White on black hatred is evil as is black on white hatred or any other type of discriminatory hatred.

For those on OPP who are Christians, you know this is right. For those of you who are not "born again" Christians, all it takes on your part is to understand you are a sinner, but Christ paid your sin debt on the Cross. You need to put your faith in Him, believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. At the moment you do that, the Lord will give you the Holy Spirit and a new birth in Him.

I'll close with "Beloved, let us LOVE one another." - - - Iliamna.

It reminds you of the 'body of Christ, blood of Christ practice.' Oh wow! You never heard of symbolism?
